And so begins another week, and another mini-heatwave. At sunrise this morning, our outside temp was 43 (F). We'll be climbing up into the upper 60s (F) today. Forecasters are predicting that tomorrow our temps will crest in the mid 80s (F). That's warm. I don't doubt that the store will see a mini-run on window air conditioners. This is early enough in the season to k=look for one if you need to buy or replace one, though the selection is not going to be that great. I'd recommend ;you check out what's on line before trundling you but into the store to look at the 2 or 3 models we have in stock.
Yesterday was a bit of a disappointment. We were supposed to have breakfast all day, but the associate who was scheduled to man the griddle call off. She's been sick for about a week, so it's not as if she just picked yesterday to call off. So, instead of having lots of breakfast delectables for me to graze upon, we had Italian Ice and ice cream. Even though I love ice cream, I was disappointed at not being able to consume sausages, and pancakes, and French toast. Though, I will have to admit I did make good on the peanut butter ice cream.
Otherwise the day was boring. I got in my laps, and another measure.
This is the 7th day since the extraction. No discomfort. I'm eating real foods. This is a good thing, since it won't give me an excuse for eating a half gallon of ice cream.... not that I really need an excuse.
And who, you might ask, could rack up better numbers on Spotify than Bad Bunny? The answer is Clair Obscur, Expedition 33, a video game about a mother's grief for her young son. Give it a listen.
Video games nowadays are absolutely stunning. They are complete productions.
ReplyDeleteAnd I don't think many people in the United States realize that this war is going to have painful repercussions. They just think about the price of gas at the next Speedway.
The effects of Cheeto's vanity and egomania will be felt in a million ways. You just wait. It's going to be gas, and food and everything made with oil byproducts and Wall Street and people's retirements and so on and so forth...
Those refineries that Kegsbreath blew? They'll take years to be rebuilt. All the strained relationships with other countries? Important.
And all because people could not vote for the nice ladies...
XOXO
I do think people are beginning to understand that they've been conned. I think most of the blame should go to NBC who made a scummy, con man look like are businessman's genious.
DeleteThese assholes who side with him need to watch their steps. For them they will be there longer than him and have to answer for their poor decisions. Might be why we are seeing some break with him. Might be a good idea if they all side with each other and screw him.
ReplyDeleteWe got our outdoor collection in last week at the showroom, and we already sold four sets. I'm like it surprises me that people pay these prices when I hear many of the sets can be found elsewhere at a better price.
The outdoor collections are what are selling at our store. I think they're way over priced. And Republicans are breaking form him faster than you can say pedophile.
DeleteThe world economy is already feeling the effects of a certain someone's desire to bomb things, although he sometimes comes right out and says he doesn't know what's going on. Peanut butter ice cream mixed with chocolate ice cream would help ease the pain.

America is going to be the most despised country in the world, which was Russa's plan all along. There was also peanut butter ice cream with Reese's peanut butter cups! Yum Yum!
