So, a combination of drizzle and snow is falling, mostly drizzle, a wintery mix their calling it on Accuweather. We are under winter storm warning. Two weeks ago we were in a similar situation. Back then they forecast up to 16 inches of snow and we got about nine inches. The forecast for today is between 4 and 8 inches, so I'm betting we're going to be on the shy side of 4 inches. The Jersey shore? That's another matter. I do suspect they're going to get hit.
At work yesterday I had a nice hardwood installation go through. My sales goal for the week is a done deal. I need another measure to hit my goal. I'm not even going to attempt to sign someone up for a credit card, as I said before, that's just not in my nature.
My neck of the woods, meaning Mechanicsburg, Camp Hill, as well as Enola, is under a water restriction. We're supposed to use between 10% - 15% less. There were a number of comments by dissatisfied customers on Facebook. One stared with "Ima," not I am or I'm. Usually, people who use trendy slang do so because they're something in their nature which requires them to be... well trendy. Slang comes and goes, believe me. Rarely does it ever become part of the language.
The Orange Anus posted this on his Truth Social account. Someone needs to tell him that both US Nave Hospital ships, the USNS Mercy and the USNS Comfort, are in drydock down in Mobile, Alabama. Nobody knows what this is about. This is what dementia looks like.

I cannot listen to him speak, hell, I can barely look at his limping towards death face. I just hope he doesn't fall asleep, though I'm sure the staff upped his Adderall dosage.
ReplyDeleteI can't stand him either, and I'm betting he going to be very medicated, other wise he might blow a gasket.
DeleteMaybe this will be the night his head implodes.
ReplyDeleteHopefully he'll be bad enough so Republicans will have no other choice than to use the 25th amendment.
DeleteBoy, I'm really enjoying this blizzard! LOL! Nothing but rain here....
ReplyDeleteIt just turned to snow here, but it's a very wet snow.
DeleteIn Britain I believe it's rained every day since 1 January and yet a few people are commenting "how long until the housepipe ban kicks in" (and I don't think they were joking)!
ReplyDeleteWe did get snow overnight, though not what they'd been predicting,
