As I expected, work was slow yesterday. Also, as expected, my customer purchased her install. Mid-afternoon 2 men came in to purchase some rolled vinyl sheeting. He handed me a sample of the vinyl they wanted. I looked at it, and then told him that the sample was from Lowe's, our competitor, and that it was not a brand that we carry. He looked a bit confused, and asked, "you don't have this?" I said, "no, it's from Lowe's." He nodded a few times, then turned to his friend and said, "I guess we have to go back to Lowe's." Seriously.
Since it was so boring, I spent some time making notes for the next book, The Body in the Words. A new character has been added: Mrs. Porridge, she the receptionist at the Hygeia Wellness Clinic.
This is going to be a busy week for me. Blogs may be delayed. Tomorrow I get my car inspected. On Wednesday I go for my year blood draw. How many vials will they fill? Four or five?
And I couldn't get into Crimson Desert. There were so many things about it that I didn't like, including mini-games and very minor quests that needed to be completed just to advance the main story. So, last evening I downloaded Baulder's Gate 3. This is a more traditional RPG.
And, since this a new week, we already know that Orangie's administration is going to be serving up a fresh, new platter of horseshit. I expect there to be more about the failing UFC cage match he planned to hold on the front lawn of the White House to celebrate his birthday. As someone pointed out, we all need to remember the parade that the world laughed at, this might be worse. His brittle, little ego is being smacked silly, so prepare for him to lash out. The failure of his Freedom 250 event created a blistering boil which he publicly lanced on his Truth Social platform. Ready yourselves, this is going to be worse.
As for his failing cage match, evidently some of the fighters are now withdrawing. Just as no one wanted to sing for him, except for Vanilla Ice, no one really wants to fight for him. And all the while, he's stealing America blind. Every little rejection is another burning poker to his brain. In the end, he's going to be the most hated, most humiliated president America has ever seen.
Hell hath no fury like a micro-dicked Cankles not getting the praise he thinks he deserves.
ReplyDeleteHis ego can't handle it.
This is the only time in his life that he’s amassed significant money. How ironic. I’m hoping they put Marco and Bubba Vance in the octagon for a fight to the finish. Pete and Kash could go next.
