Tuesday... and my work week begins again.
Yesterday was... busy. I did several loads of laundry. (Fun stuff!)
A new phone has been ordered for me. My Pixel's been having battery issues. At random times, it will turn itself off, and no matter how long it's been charging it never get's more than 50% charged. Rebooting used to fix the problem for a while, but not anymore. And, lucky for me, the phone is still under warranty. So in a few days I should be getting the replacement. That took up time yesterday morning.
Another thing taking up a bit of time was a 'chat' I had with Amazon Music. I used to be able to buy new music from their App on my computer. This is not longer possible. That App is now just a library for purchased music. To purchase music you need to go to Amazon or pay for a subscription to Amazon Unlimited. While $8 isn't much if you listen to a lot of music, one of those who needs to hear the newest releases, for someone like me who only listens to music when I'm running, walking, or cycling, it's a waste of money.
And, look what's hanging my peach tree:
Wait, what? Moscow Mitch only wants the MEN vaccinated? What kind of stupidity is that? Not surprised, but really.
ReplyDeleteThe news of religion being less prevalent is kind of surprising. I guess they're just a very loud minority? Every time they clutch their collective pearls you'd swear they're legion.
Love your peach tree! I planted an apple tree last year and I'm all fingers crossed waiting to see if it's coming back this spring.
XOXO
Yes, they are a very loud minority who hate everything they can't control.
DeleteMitch McConnell is the Devil.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course church affiliation is down; it's becoming quite clear that churches are bastions of hate and intolerance and as people become more aware and evolved, we need less false idols and their minions.
Mitch isn't really the devil, just one of his minions.
Deletetax the churches! bulldoze them into the ground! fuck #moscowmitch!
ReplyDeleteI agree completely, their tax free status has got to go!
DeleteI have to admit I was a bit surprised when I first moved to the States and my ex-husband's family asked me about "my church". Growing up in England I didn't even know anyone that went to church so that was quite a shock for me. In the end I just learned to mutter something non-comital and change the subject!
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who works at Amazon. He said brace yourselves with changes and small fees for everything. I said how does this affect me?
ReplyDeleteHe laughed.
That's the only change I've seen so far, and I wouldn't be surprised if they thought they were too big to fail.
