Gutchie, Gutchie, Gucci

Yesterday was nice and quiet.  The snow failed to make an appearance.  That's fine.  We'll end up with a few inches sooner or later.

There's a good possibility blueberry waffles might be on the menu for breakfast this morning.  Someone was talking about blueberry pancakes a couple of days back, and as I was puttering around in the kitchen yesterday, the idea occurred to me waffles would be just as tasty.

I walked 3.36 miles on the treadmill yesterday, a new record.  I'm pleased.  My lower back continues to improve so I suppose this means my vertebrae are falling into alignment.

Last evening I went to see The House of Gucci.  Hhhhmmm, that's better than a meh, in case you're interested.  Al Pacino and Jared Leto put in solid performances, especially Leto as Paulo Gucci, the aging,  overweight, and balding fool of the family.  He stole some scenes.  As for Gaga? (wince)  Her accent came and went, was Italian at times, however, there were also times when she sounded Hungarian.  Perhaps if the others on screen had not been so good... well, I'm sure it was a good learning experience working with solid actors.  Returning to Leto:  here for your comparison is what he looks like as Paulo Gucci

According to the Dallas Morning News over 21 police officers of the Dallas Police force have died from covid since the pandemic began.  These are human beings whose lives are being basically swept under the carpet by Republicans as they grab for power.  I cannot even imagine what life would be like if their dreams ever come to fuitition.
