Mysterious Island

Well, a happy Christmas Eve to everybody.  Unless you're in Retail, most of you have already begun your Christmas holiday.  I'm off for the next 2 days.  I've been loving my schedule lately.  Lots of days off.  Honestly, I didn't know how these part-time hours were going to be beneficial or not.  So far, they've been beneficial.  Here's an example:  my blood pressure has dropped.  I check my numbers every morning, and I'm coming in low borderline.  Now, ain't that nice?

All the ingredients for Biggie's birthday cake are warming up to room temperature.  I am making one adjustment to the recipe, which called for raisins.  Dogs shouldn't eat grapes, which means they shouldn't eat raisins either.  Believe me, I don't think Biggie is going to object.

To start off my holiday, I watched Mysterious Island last evening.  This has always been one of my favorite movies.  Great special effects by Ray Harryhausen.  Men running around half naked on a mysterious island, with 2 women thrown in because... well... without the women people might start talking.  Two of the actors are still alive:  Michael Callan, who actually got his start playing Riff in the Broadway production of West Side Story, and Michael Craig, who's career was very successful in Australia.  

So, I see Loser #45 is not advocating vaccinations, no mandates for masks or vaccinations, though.  Believe me, he never does anything with out a grift involved.  He needs his base to pay through their noses, that's the only thing that makes him happy.  That, and having them believe he was sent by God.  The religion that has that as one of its precepts desperately needs to be drummed out of existence.
