Bluntness

I've also been told I have little tact, so if this offends you simply ride on.

Judgement

Ah, another Saturday has rolled around here in Central PA and the weather is expected to be nice.  Our high today is predicted to be around 60 (F), in fact for the next several days we're supposed to be getting that warm.  A week ago the forecasters were telling us our daily highs were not going to get past the mid 50s (F).  This must be what the wind blew in.

And yes, it was very windy yesterday.  We were under a wind warning, with expected gusts as high as 50 miles per hour.  Nothing was blown around in my back yard, so I don't think any of the big gusts gushed around my house.  However, it was still windy enough for Howie to choose to stay inside more than outside.  And as far as I can tell, the trick and treaters stayed off of my street, maybe the wind blew them all away.

Yesterday was ride day, and I was feeling energetic, so I spent an hour on the bike and rode over 14 miles in Corsica.  I like that ride.  There's a nice mix of hills and valleys.  All that riding oxygenates my brain and when I'm working on a new book, ideas just keep popping off like little fireworks.

Also, many chores were accomplished yesterday, including vacuuming up the Howie hair.  While the boxers did share, Howie is worse.  My carpet will grow a coat of fur if I don't vacuum regularly.  This means I frequently buy vacuum bags.

The old laser jet printer is also in the trash.  Furniture in the writing room has been rearranged.  Everything is fine.

I started scanning pictures into my computer yesterday, some are rather interesting.  Here's Howie when he was a teeny weeny puppy.

So, it appears as though the House of Representatives is on permanent vacation.  I find it fascinating that while the Senate is in session, and they are having votes, the House is sitting idly by doing nothing... well that's wrong.  They are doing one thing.  Mikey Johnson isn't swearing in Adelita Grijalva, the Congresswoman from Arizona.  The minute she is sworn in, Representative Massie has the 218 votes needed for Congress to release the Epstein Files.  Republicans are in a lose/lose situation.  The minute that information is made public, the Grim Reaper will begin scything the Hell out of every congressman who voted against releasing the files.  America will know just what kind of moral degenerate is in the White House, and then everything falls apart.  It is the Republicans themselves who have put themselves into this position.  Perhaps if they hadn't been so desperate for power.  They are going to get everything they deserve.  Some will call it Karma, others will see it as Judgement.
