We had another 39 (F) morning. We seem to be locked into temps in which are daily highs are in the upper 50s (F) and nightly lows are down in the upper 30s (F). This pattern seems to be holding tight, even when rain is predicted. Finally, the leaves on the trees are beginning to turn colors.
And yesterday wasn't a bad day. I drove down to Lebanon to get my flu shot. The covid vaccine is scheduled for the day before my birthday. I could have sat and waited, but chose not to. I don't mind the drive. I think. Believe me when I tell you I like to think, probably because I know so many who simply don't.
My stiff back started disappearing around noon and was totally gone by the time I took my ride in Sotra, Norway. So far I've ridden 21.54 miles this week with a ride in Canada and one in Norway. Both have hills higher than I've been tackling before. This is a good thing for my legs. I'm moving out of my comfort zone of long, flat, easy rides. This is a good thing.
And the Toronto Blue Jays womped the hell out of the Los Angeles Dodgers last night. Not only did they beat the American team, they had the audacity to mock the Orange Anus by playing that commercial with Ronnie Reagan shitting on tariffs.

Paranoid AND a drunk, Pete needs to go.
ReplyDeleteAnd it will not be pretty when it happens.
DeleteKudos on tackling Norwegian hills and Canadian climbs. Petey reminds me of the officers that got fragged by their own troops. So desperate to be respected but too much of an ego kinda like his boss.
ReplyDeleteI honestly mentioned fragging on a comment I made in Threads 2 weeks ago. I don't if he wants people to respect him as much as he wants them to yell "Sir! Yes Sir!"
DeleteIt's gotten rather cold here lately in South Carolina too. Some days the heat cranks itself back up. My son has a lion costume for Halloween that's kind of thick so hopefully it'll be more of a chillier night
ReplyDeleteMy thermometer is set low for the Autumn, but once winter sets in it goes up a degree or two. Lions are great! Hope your son has a great time!!
DeleteWhen I go to the gym I always start with the bike while listening to a book but man oh man do I hate it. I take my hat off to you sir!
ReplyDeleteI've been doing more hills since I'm on this training program and... to my surprise, I'm actually working to see how high I can get my cardio. I tried reading and riding and found it a real slog. Now I listen to rock & roll 😎😎😎
Delete37 degrees here in Toronto this morning and I noticed the leaves have started to turn yesterday. And oh boy, those Blue Jays! We are all excited for them here in TO. It is also so good to see the orange one having a hissy fit over a very old speech given by Ronald Reagan, a Conservative. And yet he tries to spin it. Spending all that money to send a battle ship to scare off a few little boats is enough in my books to get Pete and the orange ass fired! Gigi
ReplyDeleteI think many in America are hoping the Blue Jays win just to piss off Trump. The Reagan ad rubs his nose in his own dirt, and I'm loving that. Central PA beat on temps, this morning it was 33 (F) outside when I woke up!
