Bluntness

I've also been told I have little tact, so if this offends you simply ride on.

Juiced Again

We've got some chilly days ahead here in Central PA.  Tomorrow night's low should be in the high 20s (F).  This is why you don't start your spring planting until the end of April.  We will start warming up on Thursday with temps in the low 70s (F) by next week.  Our next drop in temps won't be as bad.  Before you know it, our overnight lows will be in the mid 40s (F).

I'm going to try the raised garden again this year.  I've also bought some sunflower seeds to plant in the backyard.  Hopefully, they will keep Howie from chewing on too many sticks. Right now he's delighting on some marrow bones I cooked up for him this morning.

And I did work yesterday. It was sooooo slow.  The department had accumulated a lot of unnecessary things in our overhead: old styled books for blinds and shades, a number of boxes of hardwood samples, plastic totes with assorted bullshit.  Yesterday afternoon, I spent my time throwing that crap away.  One of the things I found was a store schedule on a clipboard from 2022.  It was interesting to see how many of those associates scheduled were no longer with us.  Let me tell you, there were quite a few.

I work today, too.  This will be an interesting day.  Fellow associates are wondering if my Supervisor is going to hand in her resignation.  Getting transferred to merchandising department is a definite step in the wrong direction if you're want to get yourself promoted.

One of the things that so nice about living so close to Harrisburg is City Island.  When the leaves are off the trees I can see the island.  We have minor league baseball in the middle of the Susquehanna river.  Before the Senator's stadium was built, outdoor concerts were held on City Island.  I attended quite a few since the island is in my backyard including The Grateful Dead... twice. 😂🤣😂

The chaos created by the Orange Anus bubbled over this past holiday weekend.  I don't know about you, but it did seem to me that his tweet on Truth Social, while riling up so many with his threats to Iran, was more intended to upstage Easter itself.  Even Easter is the most holiest of days to Christians, no one was talking about that holiness because everyone was talking about this:

With those few words he managed to eclipse Jesus. Other presidents have gone to Easter services, but not Orangie.  And while he didn't play golf, he had his orange ass driven to one of his golf courses.  He was also driven to the spot where he wants his triumphant arch to be built.  But that's it, other than shit posting on his failing social media network, he did nothing, except look bad when he finally arrived back at the White House.

Orangie looks like he's been squeezed just a bit too hard.  And what about the guy in the white shirt.  It sure seems as though he's there to help, perhaps to pump Orangie full of juice to keep him mobile and somewhat cognizant of his surroundings.  I really do wish Death would stop toying with us.

  1. Such a disgrace of a President. Wonder what his religious cult thought of him not attending Easter Service? I mean that their holiest day of the year.
