For some, the end of the work week has arrived. I never work Friday, and I'm part-time so "end of the work week," does not pertain to me. The weather forecast today is Sunny and mild, temps in the mid 70s (F). That's something I can deal with. In fact, that is the perfect invitation to spend time outside focusing on winter clean-up.
I did work yesterday and scheduling was bare bones to say the least. Flooring and Decor had a total of 14 hours scheduled, and while that may seem like a lot, it isn't. No aisle associate was scheduled, so there was no one to bring down pallets of product. This means we have to steal someone from another department. I was told by my department manager that on Tuesday the department was over scheduled. Our schedules are actually pre-built by corporate and downloaded Monday morning. The HR rep doing the scheduling should be able to adjust them by moving people around, that's what I used to do. Frequently I would simply delete their schedule completely and write my own. Unfortunately we are part of a corporation that likes to micro-manage hours, so her hands may be tied. Things are not the way they used to be.
Here's an update on the seeds I planted. The beans are sprouting like... well, bean sprouts. The green peppers are coming along fine. However everything else, including the tomato seeds? Nothing.
If that's how Murkowski feels then DO SOMETHING. Be the first GOPer to stand up because your whiny little complaints accomplish nothing.
ReplyDeleteWork for the people, not the party!
She, like every other Republican, is too worried about her job to do anything, even though that means not doing anything.
DeleteCheeto is fuming Van Hollen went to El Slalvador. Dems, take notes.
ReplyDeleteLittle Marco is a Little *itch.
Murkowski, do your JOB.
The whole tariffs thing is gonna hit us hard.
Love the seedlings!
Corporations are the worst.

They screwed up royally and now they're going to suffer greatly, which is a very good thing.
DeleteThat's just it. Lisa Murkowsk and most politicians in general are afraid of him and doing nothing. I agree....its a terrible message from her and all in DC.
ReplyDeleteThey don't seem to understand that they would further their own political careers by standing up to him, than cowing to him.
DeleteMurkowski and others of her ilk are not afraid at all, they love that Trump is destroying the USA as we know it, they finally have the shit show they deserve.
DeleteAnd finally a Senator has the guts to demand answers from the regime, we need more Senators like Van Hollen. And ICE and the state of Florida are in for a major lawsuit when they illegally detained and held US citizen Juan Gomez even after the judge was show proof of his citizenship. Fasten your safety belts everyone this bumpy ride with felon Trump has just begun.

The only good news out of all of this is that Abrego Garcia is alive.

The fact that they tried to stage the meeting is straight out of a Putin Propaganda playbook, and like Putin, that playbook is old.
