Bluntness

I've also been told I have little tact, so if this offends you simply ride on.

View from the Theater

Good Morning World!  The temperature is 44 (F) here in Central PA, and the forecast is for partly cloudy skies.  We also have wind, briskly blowing breezes is a nice way of describing the wind as the branches on the river birch outside my window dance about.  Yesterday the were whipping wildly as the cold front went through.  We also had a smattering of rain.

Tuesdays, being the first day off after working three, tend to be sort of meh.  Yesterday was not.  Much was accomplished.  My local taxes were the first chore scratched off my list.  Then there was a trip to the bank for a Cashier's Check to pay for my real estate taxes, followed by a trip to Dick's Sporting Goods for white socks.  I hadn't been to Dick's for a while, so it took me a few moments to their generic DSG socks" $17.99 for 6 pair as opposed to $28.99 for 6 pair of Nike.  They also sell Optimum Gold whey there for the same price as GNC.  Believe me when I tell you I would rather wonder around in Dick's than GNC.

The big aquarium was also cleaned.  I got a nice ride in on the bicycle.  All in all, yesterday was a good day.

I also spent as little time as possible looking at the news.

Howie got sick in the middle of the night.  I always try to see what he ate that made him sick, and, no surprise here, I saw about a pound of string from one of his toys, plus chewed up pieces from several others.  This morning I'll be heading over to PetSmart to get him a new toy, as well as his Frontline Flea and Tick med for this summer.

And, since The Body in History is heading into the final stretch before publication, I thought I'd share a pic I took in Delphi.  I took this from the front of the theater looking down on the temple of Apollo.  A fall from here might be fatal... especially if it happened at night.

As I said, I tried to avoid paying attention to the latest shit show revolving around the Orange Anus.  It never ends.  In case you haven't realized it, this is what he lives for, not only the chaos, but the never ending attention.  His ego has a voracious appetite that is never satisfied.  He is an addict and the Main Stream Media is his junkie.  One of the ways you can hurt him is to not click on any link regarding his shit show that comes from the Main Stream Media.  If those clicks and hits dry up, his junkie will have nothing to sell.

One thing I did find amusing was that Anonymous, the hacking group, hacked into 4Chan, a far right racist website and started posting online.  Evidently their main page was shuttered, and the doxing info of all those hatemongers subscribing to it is now available for the world to see.  Someone said that "with 4Chan down, where are Republicans going to go for hate memes?"

Oh, and Marjorie Taylor Greene had a townhall.  Alone, that would have made the news, but what the media is pumping out is the fact that she had the police evict several people, and had them taser a senior citizen as they were taking him out.  That video is truly revolting.  I don't believe her pea brain has any idea how badly that makes not only her, but Republicans, look.

  1. Well, those people voted her into office and knew what they were getting. Now, maybe ... MAYBE ... they'll vote smarter next time.

  2. If I ever saw Marjorie Taylor green walking across the street I do my brakes might fail. She is probably one person that I hate with an absolute passion more than anybody. She's the ugly assuming inside and out I've ever seen. And the sad part is her numbers in Georgia keep growing. Not to mention I'm sure she's a bit bitter since she didn't get appointed to anything and Trump's Administration especially after all the ass kissing and licking she did.

    1. If you do happen to accidentally run her down you can tell the arresting officer you were "blinded by the light."

    2. I would tell the cop , “but officer, I must have had one of my metabolic episodes when I accidentally ran her down”.

  3. Her brain might only be split pea size. She is a half wit at best.
Delphi is still an awesome-inspiring place. It must have been truly stunning in its day.

    1. In Delphi, I walked up a gravel path, but knowing how popular it was, and knowing how the Greeks floored the Acropolis, I don't doubt that path was paved in marble.

  4. The folks over at 4chan shouldn’t mind being unmasked and IDs revealed if they’re so proud of their bigotry and racism. If that’s how they feel they should say it in public, of course they’ll never do that out of fear that others will call them out and still more will shun them as any bigot or racist deserves.

  5. Oh no, Howie!!!
And of course it was a shitshow. The Felon needs that constant noise surrounding his name. It feels like a balm on his thin baby skin. It's unbelievable.
And the fall of 4Chan was glorious. The user names were exposed and also other info. Yay. Incels all over are crying right now.
And I despise Marge Three Names. Somebody shouted 'Butch Bodied Bigot" at the end of the townhall. It felt good.

    XOXO

    1. Happily for us, Orangie likes the chaos to be praiseworthy, and all he's getting is shrieking negativity. Powell dropped another bomb today regarding the economy, so we should be getting an ALL CAPS tirade tonight.

  6. Love the picture at Delphi. Is that where one of your protagonists fell from?
