As We Approach an Extermination Event

 As I expected, we have a freeze warning for tonight.  Will this be the last such warning for the season?  Probably.  But as soon as I say that another comes creeping around the corner.  it's difficult to say when winter's last wink will catch our eye.  Temps will be warming up again beginning on Thursday, but there are no pre-summer scorchers where our thermometers will be climbing into the mid 80s (F).  This is a good thing.

I did get a nice workout in yesterday, but for some reason my Garmin watch didn't record the correct time.  Instead of 45 minutes, I'm looking at a reading of only 15 minutes.  I'm going for a bike ride this afternoon and will have to see how it handles that cardio.

Work was terribly slow yesterday.  The actual transfer of supervisors happens on April 27.  I only saw my current supervisor for about 2 minutes, and that was to make sure she got that GQ magazine with BTS on the cover.  She's evidently a super big fan.  Myself?  I don't think I've ever listened to a single song of theirs.  Otherwise, she stayed away.  She didn't seem overly upset, though.  She did tell our aisle associate that being a supervisor meant too much work for not enough pay.  This is true for most supervisors.  Thanks to my stint in HR, my time as a supervisors was... shall we say, more lucrative.

And one of the many things that the Orange Anus is doing, is that he is upstaging one of the most important moments of space exploration mankind has achieved, the Artemis II mission.  Instead of this being front page news, headlines are screaming about the dementiated loser in the White House and his threats against Iran.  

It's truly terrible that Donald Trump can, by his mere presence is destroying the importance of this image.  That small crescent on the right side is the Earth as seen from the far side of the Moon.

I had breakfast with my brother, hence the lateness of the entry.  He has, shall we say, seen the light.  

And when I checked on social media before heading home from Denny's I saw that Marjorie Taylor Green has called upon Congress to remove Trump using the 25th Amendment.  Just when you thought it couldn't get much worse, the idiot threatened to annihilate the Iranian civilization.  For their part, Iran has shut down all diplomatic channels.  I'm betting this is not what those Middle Eastern countries wanted when they gave him those bribes.  You know?  The $400 million jet, the promise for a $5 billion dollar Trump Tower in Riyadh.  A lot of this is their fault for making a dementiated, 79 year-old man feel entitled enough to even consider this evil.

I personally don't think his threats will come to fruition, he is, after all, a true coward at heart.  In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if we see some sort of intervention.  No matter how craven the GOP is for power, I do believe they understand that if Trump carries through with this mass destruction, it will also be the mass destruction of their party.  They will not survive an extermination event of this nature.
