Well, we got drizzles. Our high temp for this afternoon was supposed to be in the low 80s (F), now, however, it appears we'll only be in the high 70s (F). That's fine. I'd like to save on the cooling expense until it gets hot enough to be essential. I also see that the mini-heatwave we had last week has now arrived in the UK. These weather anomalies are going to become more and more frequent as the climate crisis continues to grow.
Yesterday was very productive. My lawn, front and back, was mowed. Shopping was done. Gas was bought for the car. $46.00! And that was with 30 cents off of every gallon. I got a nice 9 mile ride in on the bike in Fausto, Italy. It was so boring. I will never ride in Fausto again. In the evening I played some Crimson Desert. It's interesting. I'm not impressed with the combat. That may change.
The Bluetooth keyboard I use with my writing laptop stopped working. Actually, it might still be working, I just couldn't get the Bluetooth to connect. I tried a 2nd keyboard and had the same problem. It might be the drivers. I may spend some time putzing around with it this afternoon, but not much, the laptop keyboard works just as good.
And since my roses have started blooming, I thought I share a pic of the peach colored climber I have by the front porch.

I giggle when Cankles talks about these frequent visits as normal and then brags about how he aced a cognitive test.
ReplyDeleteThe stupid, it burns.
As do snake bites into the flesh of stupid heroin addicts.
He put out a graphic with Obama's, Biden's, and his face bragging how they had no cognizant tests while he had 3 and aced them all.
DeleteAh!
ReplyDeleteLove that rose! Climbing roses are so pretty!
And Cankles is gonna need more and more medical attention. It’s gonna be very Weekend At Bernie’s pretty soon.
RFK always gives me serial killer vibes.
XOXO
I like climbers, since you tend to get blankets of flowers. Speculations are already starting as to how many months he has left.
DeleteRFK Jr is just batshit crazy.
ReplyDeleteBatshit might actually be too mild of a term.
DeleteI tend to fill up my car when I'm doing my weekly shop, and while petrol prices are coming down very slightly, there is as much as a 15 cent difference per litre from one supermarket to the other here - and that's without even thinking about the private petrol stations! I'm just glad I no longer have my 80 km commute to and from work anymore!
ReplyDeletePrices have come down a little here, but not much. Holy Crap! That's a long commute!
DeleteSnake bite ?!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping it was about Trump getting bitten by a rattler in the Rose Garden he ripped out. :)
Rex in DC
Actually, he was playing with a lot of snakes because he's stupid, and, sadly a bite did not occur.
