Bluntness

I've also been told I have little tact, so if this offends you simply ride on.

Snake Bit

Well, we got drizzles.  Our high temp for this afternoon was supposed to be in the low 80s (F), now, however, it appears we'll only be in the high 70s (F).  That's fine.  I'd like to save on the cooling expense until it gets hot enough to be essential.  I also see that the mini-heatwave we had last week has now arrived in the UK.  These weather anomalies are going to become more and more frequent as the climate crisis continues to grow.

Yesterday was very productive.  My lawn, front and back, was mowed.  Shopping was done.  Gas was bought for the car.  $46.00!  And that was with 30 cents off of every gallon.  I got a nice 9 mile ride in on the bike in Fausto, Italy.  It was so boring.  I will never ride in Fausto again.  In the evening I played some Crimson Desert.  It's interesting.  I'm not impressed with the combat.  That may change.

The Bluetooth keyboard I use with my writing laptop stopped working.  Actually, it might still be working, I just couldn't get the Bluetooth to connect.  I tried a 2nd keyboard and had the same problem.  It might be the drivers.  I may spend some time putzing around with it this afternoon, but not much, the laptop  keyboard works just as good.

And since my roses have started blooming, I thought I share a pic of the peach colored climber I have by the front porch.

In today's segment of "aren't numbers fun":  Of the 18.7 million registered voters in Texas, only 855,00 showed up to vote Paxton or Cronyn.  Think about that.

And on Orangie's 3rd physical in 13months?  Seniors with serious medical issues are going to have frequent physicals because they can go downhill so very fast.  They are desperately trying to keep him alive for as long as possible since there's no one as charismatically evil to run the cult.

Yesterday, RFK Jr put out a video of himself playing with snakes. This is video without relevance.  He was bitten, and that grinning sack of shit stood there... grinning.  I had to laugh because you do know that so many of his followers, the ones that drink the raw milk, are going to run out and try the same thing... and get themselves snake bit.  And some of them might die.

The Iranian TACO

Well temps are in the 40s (F) and we're going to end up somewhere in the mid 50s (F).  We're going to have mostly sunny skies, too, which is what I call a decent spring day.  Tomorrow we'll get warmer, but we'll also have a much greater chance of rain showers.  That's okay.  This is Spring.  We are in a transition period between the bitter cold of winter and the stanky hotness of summer.  This is a season we should enjoy.

Yesterday was productive.  Lots of little chores, the ones I am constantly putting off were scratched off the list of "things to do."  I'm pleased with that.  I got a decent ride in on the Isle of Corsica.  My trainer's happy.  If I get the strength workout done today, it will have been 5 consecutive days of working out. Last time the routines were broken up:  3 days on and 1 day off, 2 days on and 1 day off.  Honestly, 5 days in a row is easily doable.

A retail workout is on the schedule for today.  I'm getting an increase in pay, though I don't know how much.  Last year they called me back two days before payday and gave me a little slip of paper indicating how much of a raise I was getting.  Rumor has it that these raises will not be processed until April, if that's the case, then every employee is working 13 months at the same rate of pay.  This wouldn't surprise me.  That would help cut back on the payroll expense for this fiscal year and expenses are a very high priority for corporate America.

Someone had a busy day yesterday.

I'm hearing that the Orange Anus would like to TACO us out the war with Iran that he started.  Some one should tell that idiot that wars don't end that simply.  Still, at the same time we are being told that American troops will soon be on Iranian soil, that's if they can make it through the troop carrying ships can make it through the Strait of Hormuz.  This is what happens when you put a dementiated old man in the White House.

And in and desperate attempt to keep gas prices from going through the roof, oil sanctions have been dropped against some of Iran's oil.  Yep, nothing spells out stupidity like trying to buy the oil and gas from the country you're at war with.  Unfortunately, Iran seems to have the upper hand here.  It's not just stupidity, it glaring incompetence.  And people are growing more and more furious at Orangies fratboy drunk trying to run the Department of Defense from a pulpit.  Telling people they should be down on bended knees praying to God to help our troops?  Someone needs to tell Bourbon Breath that prayer has never, ever worked.

And did you hear about he FEMA director who rolled his car into a ditch and found himself teleported to a waffle house a few hours later.  This is also called driving blind drunk.

The Sum Total of His Failures

What difference a day makes.  We are chillin! with an outside temp of 28 (F).  Yesterday, as the cold front rolled over Pennsylvania, social media was filled with pics of wind, and rain, and snow showers as the temps did their version of a later winter plunge.  As far as I could tell, my neck of the woods didn't get any snow.  To be perfectly honest, I spent very little time glued to my windows looking out for randomizing snow flakes.  Our afternoon high temp will rise into the low 50s (F), which is warmer than was originally predicted.

Yesterday was rather productive.  Instead of doing my workout in the morning, I spent those hours doing my run-around chores.  The old phone has been shipped back so I can get that nice $500 credit.  A clear case was picked up for the new phone; why buy a nice blue phone if no one can see the blue? Shopping was done.  Bones were bought for Howie.  And a load of laundry set out to dry.  Then, I did my workout, which went quite well.  I know because my inner thighs are little sore thanks to the lateral lunges.

Words were edited.

I have a bike ride scheduled for this afternoon.

Where does inspiration come from?  I have no idea.  Notes are being jotted down for the next book.  The title is already set, that happened a few months ago.: The Body in the Words.  I can't tell you what it's about because it's secret.  I was looking around for a setting.  Eli and Max have been to France, and Greece, and Scotland, so going abroad isn't a problem.  They've also spent some time in wintery Michigan, and in the ghost towns of Colorado, as well as well as Olde Town, which, for those of you who don't know is Central PA.  Then, this morning a friend was talking about a trip she'd just made and this was one of the pics she shared.  I now have a setting.  Ireland.  Max Sullivan will feel right at home.  What a great place to find a dead body, don't you think?

And the war with Iran continues.  One of the media giants was talking about how the conflict was dragging on.  You may have heard me laugh at that one.  Russia's illegitimate invasion of Ukraine is dragging on.  I think that conflict is now heading into it's 5th year.  You'd think Putin would have realized the error of his ways by now.

Though, with Orangie's decision to invade Iran beginning to press heavily on the minds of Americans the past week and a half many may think it's dragging on.  I'm betting this must be torture for his demented soul, after all he's a loser who needs to take credit for wins, not losses.  And that's something he simply cannot do.  He can lean on a podium and or sit at his desk and decry that the war is over and that people need to move on, but it ain't happening.  He is reaching the sum total of his life's failures.  He has 8 bankruptcies, but will only admit to 6.  He has more failed startups than anyone in history. He has molested young girls.  Up until he decided to run for president, he was getting away with it all.  But once his ego gave into his greed for power, the shit started slipping through the cracks.  Now that shit has started to gush.  Nothing is going to stop this dam from breaking, and it will wash away the Republican party.
