Bluntness

I've also been told I have little tact, so if this offends you simply ride on.

And in the Center Ring we have... Reince Priebus

I've only actually been to the circus twice, once under an actual 'big top' tent, and the other time in an arena.  The big top was better because it wasn't that big so there was really only one ring you needed to watch.  At the arena they actually had three rings laid out, with different shows going, sometimes simultaneously in all three, and, since we were in an arena, we were much farther away from the action.  Currently the  Republican Party is running their own circus, and thanks to modern media, they only have one ring, and everybody is watching that one ring.  They don't have any side shows with which to distract your attention, and that is killing them.
First of all, way back when, we had their clown parade of candidates and Reince Priebus was the ringmaster.  Then, however, instead of giving us the 'daring young man on the flying trapeze,' he gave us Donald Trump - clown asshole at large, and old Reince has jumped right into the center ring with Trump.  This is quite bizarre when you consider that Reince was in charge back when the RNC released their Growth and Opportunity report in 2013.  I don't know what he did with that report, maybe used to to wipe his ass, maybe used it to line a bird cage, or most likely, used to to wrap up Romney's loss and throw it out with the trash because he's totally ignoring it.  And, up in Erie, PA, it played the good ringmaster and introduced Trump to his adoring hoard of Trumplodites.

Where's the popcorn?  Where's the cotton candy?  Cause this old elephant is trudging around the same old ring.  The jokes are growing tired.  In an attempt to shore up the party's failed hate message Reince is moving into the center ring.  You see, he will do anything to get the party into the White House... anything.

Al Sharpton / Sarah Palin & the big laugh

For Al Sharpton, the boycott of the Oscars is evidently a black issue only.  Of course he doesn't know what he's talking about, that much is evident when he says blacks are responsible for 40% of the ticket sales in the United States.  Does he really think 14% of the population buys that many tickets?  And he also thought "Concussion" was a good movie - does he know it played in most theaters for what?  All of two weeks?  And he only names 2 black films.  In reality there were one hundred and eighty some films released in 2015, which is about .0108695% of all the films released in the U.S.  Al, get over it.

Of course, then there was the hilarity of the GOP clown parade, a phrase I haven't heard for some time.  Sarah Palin announced her support for Donald Trump.  Holy Shit!  Like that endorsement is going to give his campaign any type of validity.  And then I saw this picture:

And you thought clowns were only frightening when they had their makeup on.  Oh, wait, someone just told me she's not endorsing him, she's announcing his being cast in title role of Stephen King's "It."  Maybe that's why she failed to show at his rally in Iowa.  Or maybe she was too busy returning that outfit to K-Mart, hope she didn't snip off the price tag.

Comedy Hour, Hosted by Kim and Reince

This past week, besides being a bit hectic at work, was also one of much hilarity on the Internet, know what I'm talking about, the ironic funny stuff.  Like Kim Davis' pimp Mat now saying that those marriage licenses issued by her office, without her name, are legal documents, which is different then what he and that cow he's pimping out were saying a few weeks back.  Probably because that scammy bullshit they tried to pull with the Pope backfired.  Wouldn't you think that if their Deity were on their side the whole world would have been flummoxed?
Then there was Trump's second attack on George W. Bush, which was really a ha ha ha.  The problem with the Republicans is that they are living in an alternative universe, one in which everything they do is wonderful. They love changing history, you know? And of course Jeb, who wants to prove there is a least one Bush in the family who can be a adequate president, objected.  There is no way they are ever going to admit that W was one of the worst presidents in American history.
And another funny thing was Reince Priebus' comment about the 2016 election.

I suspect he said that because he now realizes that everything is getting flushed down the toilet.  Not one person in the Clown Parade is electable.  Only an idiot can see either Trump or Carson in the White House.  Priebus knows this.  He is, no doubt, trying to get the wagons into a circle in order to survive the Indian attack without understanding it's not the Indians who are attacking, which is more of their alternative universe.  A closer analogy would be a horde of Republican lemmings racing towards the edge of a cliff.  At this point, I don't think anything is going to stop them.
