Bluntness

I've also been told I have little tact, so if this offends you simply ride on.

Trumps speaks Trumplish

Am I the only one who's notice that Trump doesn't really speak... well, English... well?  He sort of wanders his way through words in something I feel we should start calling Trumplish.  And it's not only Donald, his Trumplodites have the same problem.  Now I realize that most of them didn't graduate from high school and those that did hated English but can't they at least try to be a little coherent?  Here's an example from Facebook.

I agree life is going to get worse if Hillary becomes president and Obama is not done trying to kill or destroy so much more for us before he leaves office. It is crazy and sad our own president against our country and Hillary is just like Obama. ðŸ˜“ worried for all of our Safety.

Now, I don't know this person, but evidently they he / she has no concept of just what is a run on sentence.  Or maybe this is just they way they think... stream of consciousness.  One can only ponder if this is what Joyce aiming for in most of his work, and that maybe he has succeeded in ways he never conceived.  Nah, this is just some dumbshit.   This is just like Donald.

He doesn't even know how to conjugate.
Can you even imagine his acceptance speech if he wins?

The Bilingual Paradox

I think Donald Trump is a horse's ass, but that doesn't mean he isn't amusing.  Thanks to him a majority of the American people now know that a large majority of the Republican base hate illegal aliens.  To be more precise, they hate Spanish speaking illegal aliens.  They want to kick them all out and build a wall.  Hhhmmm.  However, the Republican base also likes Big Business because Big Business donates lots and lots of money to their causes.  In fact, Republicans, in general, love Big Business almost as much as they hate illegal aliens, which is where the bilingual paradox occurs.  You see one of the largest groups of Big Business is retail.  Retail Corporations (and they are corporations) earn billions and billions of dollars every year, and these Retail Corporations tend to funnel a portion of those billions to the political party which they feel is going to give them the best deal, oh, and retail is very, very pro-bilingual.  Walk into any Walmart, or Target, or Lowe's, or Home Depot and you're going to see two languages... English and Spanish.

And everybody knows that the vast majority of those illegal aliens (who, according to Trump are Latino) have taken the time to become proficient in English before crossing the boarder illegally. Oops, well, that last sentence is probably not true, most of them can't speak English.  Do you think any Retail Corporation cares how people get to this country?  All they really care about is the money those people are going to spend, which is why they make it so easy.  This is a bit of a thorny issue for the Republicans, you see, becauseif by some odd chance Donald Trump were to get elected president, and if he were to ship out all of the millions of illegal aliens, retail sales would slump, which would effect the global stock market.  Think of all the jobs that would be lost.  Republicans can't have their cake and eat it too, which is why there's a bit of a paradox.

kinect to Skyrim

Yesterday I went out and added to my electronic toy collection by purchasing a Kinect.  I did this not because I wanted to play one of the available fitness games but rather because I wanted to give voice commands while playing Skyrim.

There are 200 voice commands you can use.  Instead of pressing going to the map using your controller, you simply say "map" and then say where you want to go.  There are follower commands and item commands and, most importantly "shouts" which can be said in either English or dragon.  I don't think you need to be an Einstein to understand this is where gaming is going.  I don't think you need to be an Einstein to understand this is where gaming is going.  Gaming becomes much more interactive.  You're no longer just using your hands and game play becomes less instinctive and much more personal.

Speaking of Mass Effect 3, the first DLC becomes available today.  I'll wait and watch it on Youtube.
