High Hell

Today's my Saturday... well, not in name but the spirit is there.  Today is also Halloween.  All Hallows Eve.  That one night of the year when the Idiot Jerk in the White House can take off his mask so the world can see his true horror... Wait... What's that?  He's not wearing a mask?  Shit, and I thought that was his 'pretty boy' look.
He went to Pittsburgh yesterday... alone, well, not quite Melanoma was with him and some Rabbi whom nobody seems to know... Myers, who is no relation to Eli Zinneman-Myers, that I can guarantee.  Even Pat Toomey, our failed Republican Senator stayed away.  I'm sure that didn't sit well with the Idiot Jerk, being shunned.
Normally a president's approval rating goes up during times of National Crisis... his dropped 4 points.  And his braggadocio yesterday about being able to override the Constitution?  Let's be honest here, this guy is dumb as a fucking brick.  Or maybe he's been listening too much to those Evangelicals whispering in his ear.  They tell him he's been chosen and can do what he wants.  Shit, they're as manipulative as he is and, I suspect, it will not be long before they start sacrificing goats.
And, since tonight is Halloween, I'm going to have to turn off the motion detector for my front lights.  Other wise they will turn on every time a Trick or Treater walks by, darkness is much better.  Then they will really get a scare when I let out the big dogs to bark and snarl at them.  What Joy!  Let me tell you Biggie is loud!  Of course, he's not nearly as scary as someone in a Trump mask.
Being that this is a holiday, I do have one decoration, not that I only get it out for this one night of the year.  It's too special for that.

That's right, I have a death globe!  I wish the black flakes inside were sparkly.  We can't have everything, you know?

And if you think this is scary, imagine the horror of Republicans with midterms only 6 days away.  The Idiot Jerk is throwing as much shit at the wall hoping it sticks... the problem is that most of it stinks to high hell.

Guns in the House of God

Well, this is my hump day.  That's right, many of you will be snoozing while I write this because for you... 'it's the weekend.'  My weekend is going to happen on Wednesday and Thursday.  Yippee!!
And I ordered the Warwick Rower's calendar for 2019 this morning.  I hope it's more colorful than last year's.  I had been going to order one of the 'red hot' calendars, but you need to use Paypal.  I don't have Paypal, and am not about to sign up just to buy a calendar. 
Yesterday was another dark day for America.
And once again the Idiot Jerk in the White House advocated Guns in the House of God.  He said the same thing after the mass killing at a church in Sutherland Springs, Texas left 26 dead.  He wants us to put armed guards in the Houses of the Holy.  Having to do so shows the weakness of an All Powerful Deity.  We will need to use guns to protect ourselves because He will not.  He said the same thing again after the shootings in Charleston that left 9 dead.  Three mass shootings in three Houses of God in less than 2 years of his presidency and his response is always the same.  Guns are the answer.  Perhaps if the Republican party had not Sanctified the 2nd amendment this would not be a problem.  Unfortunately for the vast majority of Americans, this party will sanctify anything for a vote.
And then 9 hours after these people were killed... he went to a campaign rally.  This was not a speech in front of a select group of people.  This was a rally where people stomped their feet and cheered.  He could have toned the event down, use that time to show respect for those who had been shot and killed.  And he did say a few, choice subdued words at the beginning.  But then it turned into a rally.  This is how you get Republicans to go to the polls.  People died and he stood there damning Democrats.  And you can bet there were a lot of phony Christians in the crowd, and probably some White Supremacists too, and a couple Neo-Nazis, who really had no problems with the shootings.
This man makes Americans look ugly as his own sin.

Role Model Hell

Well, yesterday wasn't as full as I was expecting it to be, at least not here.  Translation:  I didn't get as much accomplished as I wanted, basically because I had breakfast with my brother.  Breakfast for me is normally oatmeal.  As a result of the omelet, hash browns, and toast, I ran my errands to Giant, and to Dick's, and then turned into a slug.  I got out the wallpaper steamer, but, alas, spent not a second stripping. I did, however, spend some time on another project I've been working on.  I'll talk about that at a later date.
Anyway, I guess the GOP are trying to put a crooked face on Saccone's loss out near Pittsburgh.  I'm sure the Idiot Jerk in the White House would have splutter something incomprehensible if one of his sycophants hadn't shoved a Big Mac in his mouth and handed him a diet Coke.  Publicly they're saying Lamb won against a bad candidate... one whom the Idiot Jerk praised in an appearance there last Sunday (just saying).  Privately they're scratching their heads and asking themselves "why don't people like us?"
Interestingly enough, an opinion at NBC News answered that very question this morning.  About half way down 2 words jump out:  Role Model.  Conor Lamb stands for calm intelligence, rational behavior, and an astute awareness of what the voters want, and therefore represents the type of Role Model parents want for their children.  Rick Saccone and the Idiot Jerk are at the opposite end of the spectrum, the rectum, so to speak.  Do you really think parents what their children to grow to be like the Idiot Jerk?  Well, perhaps some, those with a trash mentality.  For the most part, however, that person in the White House represents the best in America.  Up until the Idiot Jerk, the President has always been a Role Model children were encouraged to look up to, but all that changed in 2016.  Now we have a pussy grabbing, three times divorced, porn star banger, foul mouthed scumbag sitting in the Oval Office.  The Roll Model from Hell managed to get himself elected.  The time has come to throw out the trash and Conor Lamb and Doug Jones are showing us how to do it.
