Special

Well a happy Wednesday morning to everybody out there in the world.  If the weather forecasters are correct, this should be our last day for temps to be hovering around in the low 50s (F).  Tomorrow they start to rise and by next week our afternoon temps should be happily in the mid 70s (F).  I'm up for that.

Since I'm not scheduled until Saturday and them weather is not conducive to yardwork, I've been taking care of more "home improvements."  Yesterday, I got out the steamer and removed the last wall paper border in my house, sunflowers running along the ceiling in the bathroom.  Once finished, I packed up the steamer and set it out on the front porch.  Since it will no longer be needed, I will set it out on the curb for someone to pick up.  That's one less thing I have to worry about in my house.

I had taken my old PS4 Pro into work for a charity auction.  An associate who has some autism issues bought it.  The last I heard, they were wondering how to make sure he understands that his bid requires him to pay them money for the console.  This is something that should have been explained to him several times during the bidding process.

On Sunday, when it rained so hard, I did something I haven't done in quite sometime.  I used an umbrella.  It is a classic, believe me.  Sop how many of you remember Bartles & James?

Trump's rape trial continues.  A guilty verdict will only solidify his MAGA base even tight around him.  He will most likely get the nomination, but not after a bloody fight that will tear the Republicans to pieces and then, as is his standard procedure, he will shriek election fraud.  This will continue with many Republicans until we start smacking them in the face and even then it will take quite a number of smacks before they begin to grasp the truth.

Evidently one of Tucker Carlson's ugly Tweets has seen the light of day.  He didn't like the way white men fought while beating up what they claimed to be an Antifa youth.  He did, however, enjoy watching the young man get beaten up, as though he deserved to be beaten.  My, Tucker is really an ugly person inside, isn't he?  Of course, many of us knew this already.  He's the mail version of the selfish, spoiled brat who hates everyone and everything that doesn't see him as being special.

No title entry because I forgot one

Well, we have rain here in Central PA.  According to the weather forecasters, it's only to supposed to be here this morning.  This afternoon it's supposed to go away and temps are predicted to climb into the mid 60s (F).  Tomorrow it's to be a bit more sunny and warmer, but on Friday the rain returns.  Remember that saying "April showers bring May flowers?"  Well, this year it appears as though we're going to have a replay of last year and the all those showers are going to be arriving in May.

I did get some painting done yesterday.  Because the weather's not supposed to be cool today, with showers possible, I'll get paint some more.  Hopefully, I'll get the kitchen ceiling knocked out and then I'll be able to call my drywaller to finish it off.

So, I still can't order author's copies of The Body Under Ice from Amazon.  I talked to a woman yesterday who told me their IT people were working around the clock to fix the problem.  If I were living in France, or Australia, or even Canada there would be no problem, it's only authors living in the United States who can't order copies.  She took the title of my book and put it on a list for their IT people to research and fix.  Even though she said this was a top priority, I'm thinking this is not the case.  I may have to struggle through the archaic process Barnes & Noble uses for their paperback books so I can order copies through them.

Chief Justice Roberts is not going to testify before the Senate on the tumultuous ethics complaints circling like hungry vultures around Clarence Thomas.  That would be tantamount to admitting there is a serious problem in the Supreme Court.  They will never admit that, no matter how terribly things spin out of control.  I'm betting that Clarence is spitting out bitter Oreo bricks because his belief that he was above the law is being questioned.  He's looking so much like a scumbag as the revelations continue to drop.  It turns out he is a greedy, selfish, and self-centered sack of shit, and I'm betting the Court doesn't quite know how to deal with him.

And as more dirt surfaces about Carlson, it turns out he is so much worse than a scumbag.  Evidently there are emails Dominion did not release to the public which show just how vile a human being he truly is.  Tucker's ego told him that he was the voice of authority, and his ratings reinforced his ego.  Now, he's unemployed and hoping to sue Fox.  Let's hope their attorney's are smart enough to force him back under the rock he crawled out from under.

Fired

Well, now isn't this a most joyous Tuesday morning?  There is not a cloud in the clear blue sky.  The temps are a bit cool, but there's nothing wrong with that, we're still in the month of April.  Sure we've had a few warm days, but they were just a teaser for what's going to be coming this summer.  Here in Central PA we've manage to escape the 100 (F) degree days so far like they've been getting down south.  Anyone who's been paying attention to the weather knows that's going to change.

Work was slow yesterday.  A customer called in to set up a measure, so I snagged that, otherwise all I did was meander around the department restocking shelves and filling spaces with products for non-existent customers to buy.  I had to work paint for a bit because of scheduling issues.  They lost an associate, and it took a while to hire a new one in.  They're going to be losing another soon.

Because the temps outside are so cool, today I'm staying inside and painting.  Can you see the joy in my words?

And, of course, yesterday there was this:

Fired!

I was quietly sitting at the flooring desk when the news flashes began.  As I glanced down at my watch to see the notification, my heart leapt with joy.  A laugh rose in my throat; a hearty HaHaHa that refused to stop.  Fox New dumped Tucker.  Don't worry about his job prospects though, I understand Russian media was after him like a dog after a ham bone.

What I thought was truly amusing that no one came out and said he had been fired.  Instead, everybody was saying that Tuck and Fox had parted ways... very suddenly.  Even smoothed over, that news was delightful.  Tuck has been fired from 3 cable news networks.

And conservatives are flummoxed. Who can they turn to for lies and deceit if not Tuck?  The fact that Fox actually "parted ways: (hahaha) with him was a nuclear blast in the head of every MAGA in this country.  Their beloved Orange Anus is facing increased legal action from every side and his court propogandist has been silenced.  And, whether they understand this or not, this is just the overture.  Symantec is next up in the docket and if Fox caved to Dominion, they're sure as hell going to fold for Symantec.  One can only wonder how many heads are going to roll.

Swinging in the Wind

Well, we did have thunderstorms yesterday, for about 15 minutes.  Mostly the rain was nothing more than the occasional shower.  A high wind warning went into effect at 0800... and there was no wind.  We did have some 40 mile an hour gusts during that short-lived thunderstorm.  This doesn't mean we didn't get wind, we did, but it started last night around 9 PM when the actual cold front went through and this morning it's gone.  Forecasters are predicting today's temps to be in the mid 50s (F).  That's fine.

Tuesday the weather's supposed to be nice, so the yard work will commence.  My bulbs are coming up.  There are a lot of them.  Bazoom, bazoom.

The threat of storms yesterday kept business down in the store.  As far as I know, no one in my department got either a measure or a lead.  I had some sales go through which put me over my goal, but all of my other numbers are zeros.  This is how it goes.

There might be hope for my selling paperbacks through Barnes & Noble.   Since my covers are commissioned, hand painted mini-works of art, I need to convert the scanned JPEGs into PDFs, resize the size through the 'in flight' tab, and then import that file into Word to ensure colors are accurate.  Well, now there's a tab in Word that lets you convert and imported file to a  PDF, which means I might be able to skip the Adobe step.  I will have to play around with it.

Back covers need art too, so, if you buy the paperback version of The Body Under Ice from Amazon, it's quite likely this is what you'll see.  It's a shame we didn't have any snow this winter to give it a better background.  That's a Home Depot hat I'm wearing, and, of course, those ugly, yellow lensed glasses.

\

I have to tell you that every time I read Tucker Carlson's over the top rants I cannot stop myself from smiling.  There isn't a single doubt in my mind that Tuck is scared.  If Dominion triumphs over Fox, Tuck's career will be over, unless he wants to join Newsmax and much lower salary level.  Every time Trump gets indicted (and more are on the way), his career is going to take a body blow.  The man's ego has always put him on the wrong side of reality.  It's almost as if someone gave him a long skein of rope and asked him to make something, and in his infinite stupidity he decided to make a noose.  The idea that his career choices might hang him has never occurred to him, which, knowing how his ego works, is not surprising.  Is Tuck terrified that his career might soon be swinging in the wind?  I don't doubt it.

Yesterday

Holy Crap!  Retail was so terribly slow yesterday.  Not one customer.  These are the slow days we usually have in February.  By March, the stream of lawn and garden customers is beginning to pick up.  That isn't happening.  Most stores in the area aren't making plan.  I don't doubt a lot of it has to do with prices.  It isn't like the orange retail giant I work for isn't making money.  The business just is not earing them the revenue they've budgeted.  In flooring, we're offering a special deal until 3/19, but it's only on the top of the line carpet and pad: 10% off.  I laughed.  Instead of spending $4 per square foot, they want customers to spend $7, and for that they'll take off .70.  That will only fly so far.

Outside, we're under a snow warning.  A band of heavy snow is moving through the area.  But not here.  The skies are overcast, but that's about it... except for the occasional, single flurry that has managed to make a suicide dash from the clouds.

I did skip the treadmill yesterday, but I'll be back on it today.  That means I'll get my steps in.  Yesterday, even without the treadmill, I managed to get 13, 889 steps in, that's because business was so slow and could do lap, after lap, after lap around the store.

Here's a pic of one of my daffodils.

And, for those who haven't heard, yesterday Tucker Carlson relvealed the first edited video of January 6.  His version shows snippets of the rioters quietly walking through the halls of Congress.  He has the number one propaganda show on cable.  Tucker doesn't care if he manages to incites violence.  His boss, Rupert, would probably like that.  However, we do need to keep things in perspective.  Tucker may have his fan base, but on a daily basis CBS evening news. with its 5.3 million viewers nearly doubles Tucker's fan club.  NBC easily doubles Tuck's base with well over 7 million viewers, and Disney owned ABC News almost triples Tuck's base.  Those three networks combined, garner well over 6 times Carlson's base.  This also doesn't take into account those who watch cable news.  However, people talk about Tucker and his antics, whether that makes him more dangerous than not, I don't know.  What does make him more of a threat is the influence he wields among the crazies, the Trumpers, and the MAGA brained who will deny realityforever.

McCarthy = mini-Putin

I am looking out my window at dense fog.  In time, it will burn off or blow away.  We have a high wind warning for this afternoon.  I have battened down the hatches, so to speak ( the lids are tight upon my garbage cans so they do not blow away).  Since today is garbage day, however, I do not doubt that since most of my neighbors work, their cans and lids will be rolling up and down the street.

I saw that I have an eye appointment on Monday.  I also have an eye appointment.  I will have to call and change my start time and hope they don't dilate my eyes.  Either that, or I'll just have to take a personal day.  I have more than enough hours on the books.

My friend Betsy called me last night.  She has an appointment today to get an passport and she wanted to know if she could use as point of contact in case of an emergency.  Of course, I said yes.  She's going on a cruise to Nassau and the Virgin Islands with some friends.  This will be her a first for her.  She told me she was thinking of taking some of her art supplies along.  I told her just to take pictures with her phone.  I don't think she understands how busy she will be.  The friends she's going with don't like the beach, or the shore; they love the little stores and boutiques.  The tourist traps they're going to go will be like little Meccas to them.

And Biden went to the Ukraine.

This pissed off a lot of Republicans, as well as Trump's blow bro Vlad.  They hate it when he does things presidential.

Vlad is enraged because his 3 day war has taken over a year and Russia is still losing.  That makes both he and his ego look bad.  What he thought were best laid plans have proven to be shit because he was wrong about so many things.  Putin has always been a bumbling idiot who always managed to dress himself with the appearance of power.  Now, metaphorically speaking, he's running around naked.

Kevin McCarthy handed over 40,000 + hours of security footage from January 6 to Tucker Carlson's producers.  This man is pure evil.  He knows that footage will cut, and sliced, and edited to fit the Republican lie that there was no insurrection.  This is his attempt to discredit the January 6 committee.  He doesn't care if his actions incite the MAGA base to violence.  In case you haven't realized it yet, he desperately wants to be a mini-Putin.  If something were to happen to Biden and Harris, he would be next in line for the presidency.  That thought crosses his mind constantly.  This is the truth.

The Decent Thing

It's Saturday.  The temps are supposed to climb into the low 50s (F).  And I have a short shift.  4 hours.

Yesterday was good.  Accomplishments were... well, achieved.

The angelfish tank was cleaned.  They seem happy.  One of these days I'll have to make a fish run down to That Fish Place in Lancaster to pick up more Mollies.  Two years ago there were 4, now there's 1, a solitary female.  I don't know if fish get lonely, but I feel bad that she's by herself.

I got a 2 mile fast walk in while watching a mini-marathon run up a snowy Swiss Alp.  If you, too, want to run in Switzerland, here's the link.  The only problem I have with it, is that the videos are mostly focused on one woman running, so the guy with the GoPro is always behind her.  Now and then he will leave her behind, but usually her long hair is bouncing around ahead of you.

And the polishing goes on with The Body Under Ice.  I've switched ink colors, from purple to red.  This is the time when I add little things, like Lexi Bowerman's housedress now has a pattern of small, pink petaled flowers.  Nothing really changes.

Since Biggie no longer comes upstairs to sleep on the bed, I bought him one of his own.  He spends hours on it during the day.  At night, however, he sleeps on the sofa in the writing room.

So, the Republicans elected Ronna McDaniel as Chair of the RNC.  She's been an abject failure for the past 3 elections.  When you consider her competition, you can understand the vote.  Mike Lindell apparently got 4 votes.  You also need to keep in mind the Republican mindset.  Voting her out would be admitting they were wrong right from the very start.  Republicans are never wrong.  Were they to even consider admitting something like that their little universe would start to collapse.

No, I didn't watch the Tyre videos.  I understand that Tucker Carlson spewed virulent, racist bullshit.  If you were expecting anything else from him, you are more than a little naïve.  I don't doubt that Tucker's a terribly bitter man who will never be able to deal with change.  Luckily for us, Tucker will pass, just as Fox News will pass.  Both will go the way of Newsmax, and history will not be kind.  History will do the decent thing.

Cool Down

 Guten Morgen!

Yes, I am still working on my German, and I can say more than those two words.  I've tried several different courses.  Right now I'm using Babel and I do seem to be learning, perhaps because this is the first course to actually explain where there are so many ways to say the definitive article 'the' in German.

Yesterday I was by myself at the flooring desk for most of the day.  No problems.  Business is slow right now, much slower than it was in February, which is normally the slowest time of the year.  And it's not just our store, it is all across the district.  Prices have gone up, but I believe that might only be a small, partial reason.  Another part of the problem is, I suspect, credit card debt; if you sign up for one of our cards the interest rate is a (holy mother of god) 26%.  Most importantly, I think, is the fact that during the Covid Years people spent umpteen $$$ on home improvements and have decided that now is a good time to apply the brakes.  Most only have so much disposable cash, and as I said, that credit rate is a real killer.

I had an email from FedEx this AM telling my my new computer will now be arriving on Thursday.  Excitement is building.  I went with a liquid cooling system, rather than air, which means it will look like this on the inside.

Aren't you happy I show pictures like this rather than pictures of naked people?

I saw where the once liberal Lachlan Murdoch, the heir apparent to the sinister Rupert, has changed his tune.  He gave a speech back on March 29 in which he claimed Australia's traditional values were under attack.  While he mentioned that Australia is one of the most openminded countries (?), went on to stress how censorship was ruining those values.  He continued this thread by bringing up  Facebook's attempt at limiting Wuhan conspiracy theories before moving onto Hunter Biden's laptop.  He cited a poll (?) which claimed over 50% of Americans would not stand up and fight if Russia were to invade the US.  But then, what else should we expect from the man who pays Tucker Carlson to be Putin's Puppet?  Truthfully, his complaints were not about censorship, as much as they are about his belief that mass media is needed to create and sustain authoritarian governments, authoritarian governments run by the wealthy.  I think we need to cool Lachlan down by shading him with some serious taxes, otherwise he will be just another rich guy looking for another puppet state to control.

Traitors

Well, let's say hello to Friday.  The temps here in Central PA are supposed to top off in the high 50's (F).  Now, ain't that nice.  There is a smudge in the forecast, however.  Snow is predicted for tomorrow, possibly 3 - 5 inches.  Notice, I include the word possibly.  So far this year their predictions for an accumulation have been... off.  Originally the snowfall was to begin tomorrow afternoon, now the stuff is slated to begin falling around 0400.  I'm not holding my breath.

I ordered a doggy heating pad for Biggie.  He had trouble getting up the back steps yesterday.  I know what my heating pads do for my lower back, so I'm thinking napping on something warm and comfy may be beneficial.

The new window A/C unit was installed in the computer / workout room yesterday, and even got a mini-workout while I did a slow jog on the treadmill.

Yesterday's breakfast with my brother went fine.  We avoided politics completely.

The copy of the PS4 Uncharted I had ordered was sitting on my front porch this morning, so I'm loading it right now.  I will give it whirl later in the day.  From the looks of it, I'd say the game was geared for teenage boys who want to have a lot of masculine fun.

One of the effects of Putin's ruthless invasion into the Ukraine is the continued splintering of the Republican Party.  For years the GOP had been pro-democracy, I mean, they were after all the party of Lincoln.  But the Reagan happened and their philosophy began to distort, they fantasized about running the country all by themselves, where they won every election, like Putin.  And the DOA Trump showed up and rebranded the party.  They became America First, which is a literal translation of "shut up, I'm in charge and we're going to be Democratic my way, and only my way."  You know, the way Putin has been running Russia for 22 years?  Suddenly, some of those old Republican bones began creaking.  Shit.  And some of the realized that dictators are always going to be on the selfish side, that they will always need to violently put down insurrections, making them bloody.  This is not what we represent, some of them said, and the party began splintering again.  The more the party splinters, the better chance for democracy to survive.  Helping it splinter even faster and farther are Tucker Carlson, and Fox News.  No doubt Putin sees them as an asset to his violent invasion.  Hopefully, more Americans are beginning to see them as traitors.

Is Tucker Carlson a Commie Pinko?

Wednesday already.  Outside, the temps are a near balmy 61 (F), however, that will be changing soon.  Cold is on the way.  And snow (just a dusting), and ice (enough to make the roads slick).  Both of those happy things are due to arrive sometime late tomorrow afternoon, about the time I'm going to be heading home from work.

Yesterday was a quiet day here.  A couple loads of laundry were washed and dried.  A short walk / run was done on the treadmill.  I had planned for staying on longer, but I accidently pulled out the emergency shut down plug when I was reaching up to increase the speed and, well, every thing came to a sudden stop.  This is that has happened.

I do need to go to the store today.  My Xbox controller needs batteries.  I've started a 3rd play through of Mass Effect 3, the legendary edition.  Mass Effect was ground breaking when it came out in that it incorporated romance in the action... same sex romance, if you happened to be playing as a female Shepherd.  It wasn't until the 3rd part of the trilogy came out that same sex romance for the male Shepherd made it's appearance.  Now, all RPG's offer romance regardless of gender.

And of course, Bad Boy Vlad gave a fiery speech which left a number of historians scratching their heads.  He seems to have been  collaborating with Trump since a lot of what he said was... well, an ugly version of creative history.  One of the things he brought up was the USSR.  For those of you who are too young to know, the USSR stands for Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.  That's right, before Russia began to fake their democracy, they were Communist.  We called them Commie Pinkos.  So, what we have is Vlad lamenting the tragic collapse of the USSR.  He'd like to go back to the 'good ol' days' of the 1950's, just like Conservatives in this country.  Back then, Republicans knew who the enemy was, today, however, some of them want to side with Putin.  Take Tucker Carlson, who's been spending an exorbitant amount of time praising Vlad and what he's been doing.  Back in the 50's, Conservatives would have called Tucker Carlson a Commie Pinko.  I don't doubt for a second that Tuck's Karma is going to take him down because he has become dangerous.

Political Humor

I get to go back to work today.  This is going to be one of those odd weeks.  Rain today, and tomorrow.  The temps are supposed to be warm, but few go out buying their garden supplies in a constant drizzle.  This is also the week of our success sharing bonus - I understand the theme is Circus, Circus, Circus.  We used to have big events where the entire store gathered together to celebrate.  Now we have safely distanced smaller events with more food.  I prefer the new ones over the old.  I'm not a big event, celebratory kind of guy.  Going to a big party is not my idea of fun.

Yesterday much yard work was accomplished, the dogs were walked around the block, and a played Valhalla.  Oh, and I went for a bike ride somewhere in Germany.  The rides are fun, though in a survey Tacx sent me, I noted more rides in America would be nice.  Right now there are 7, and they're GPS rides, meaning there is no real video, just a GPS map your icon moves across.

Polls indicate LGBT individuals are finding more and more acceptance in America.  You know this is driving the Cracker Jack Crazies... well, crazy.  I don't know if you've seen or heard about any of the Rants from Tony Perkins, but according to him America is teetering on the edge of a quick slide down into hell.  His real problem is that those accepting his mythological basis for hate are in the decline.  This has always been a problem with mythologies, time always reveals how much they're based on fiction.

And now for a smidgen of political humor.  Sydney Powell has filed paperwork in her defense against Dominion's lawsuit stating no 'responsible' person would have believed her claims of election fraud.

This means Tucker Carlson is... has no sense of reason.  Neither does Rudy the 'G,' or Loser #45.  In fact, now Sydney is claiming that the entire Republican party, a group of individual who back her crackpot lies because it suited their purpose has no sense of reason.  I'm wondering if Rudy the 'G' is going to crack as well, and if he does, who's he going to blame.

Odd

It's Thursday, my new waffle iron / sandwich maker arrives today.  I'm excited.  Probably more so for the sandwich side of things since I'll now be able to grill them.  Now I can be my own little Panera's at half the cost.

I did finally get my butt on my bike yesterday for a nice ride in Lombardy, the first half of Stage 1 of the ride.  Both stages come to around 50 miles.  Completing that would be an accomplishment.

There was a big spider in the kitchen sink this morning.  Since spiders do more good that bad, I used a broom to help him escape.  That's right.  I saved a spider.  Some of you will think this rather odd, but remember they eat a lot of bad insects... like mosquitoes.

I'm planning spending some of today stripping.  That's right.  Peeling away the nonessential.  While I won't be on a stage, I will be on a ladder.  And what am I going to be stripping away?  This ugly apple border in my hallway.

Why apples?  I wanted something red to go with the yellow walls of the hallway.  It was a mistake, of course.  Apples.  I don't like apples.  The only way I'll eat them is in a pie.  Yeah, I know, I'm a bit odd.

One thing that wasn't odd were the attacks on Harris by the racists on the Right.  You know who I'm talking about, the Idiot Jerk in the White House and Fox News.  I understand Tucker Carlson spent quite a bit of time making fun of her name....  This was coming from a man named Tucker, rhymes with Sucker, you know?  I understand these personal racist and sexist attacks are of great concern to the GOP.  Not because they are racist and sexist, rather his campaign has had how many months to prepare their attacks zeroing in on specific differences for each and everyone of the potential VP selection, and all they could muster in the end were petty sexist and racist attacks.  A thirteen year old child could come up with something better.  But then, this is what we have come to expect from the heart and soul of the Republican Party.  They are predictable.

Tucker, the Cracker Jack Conservative

Well, I finally got a ride in yesterday, after I got the tank filled and the filter running.  I ran a hose from the kitchen sink, so it didn't take long at all.

The inline heater is attached and the temp set for 78 (F).  Today I'm going to zip down to That Fish Place and pick up plants, and maybe a fish or two.
Aft my ride, I decided to make me some waffles.  Since the recipe makes 12, I always freeze the leftovers.  The first batch turned out fine.  The second looked a bit odd, not quite brown enough on the top.  With the third batch I realized the top heating element was going on my waffle maker.  It's now in the trash.  In case anyone is interested, you can use waffle batter to make pancakes.
I understand that racist Tucker Carlson has been going after Tammy Duckworth.  I can remember when he used to wear bow ties and was just a little Cracker Jack Conservative, now he's gone full blown hate monger.  White Supremacists love him.  If you want to know how many there are in the United States, just look at the number who turn him to listen to him rant.  Not surprising, more people turned on the last episode of the Idiot Jerk's reality TV show then watch Tucker.  And Tucker thinks his ratings are great.  Ouch!
And I understand the RNC is planning on running a full court press when it comes to testing and tracking in Jacksonville.  Isn't that odd?  What ever happened to their claims this was nothing more than a hoax unleashed by the Democrats?
The Idiot Jerk's niece, in her new book, claims he sees cheating as a way of life... okay, so what else is new?  If that's a revelation this far into his presidency, you have not been paying attention.

Barking like a dog

Wednesday... and my sort of hump day... but not quite.  I have off tomorrow, then 2 more days of work followed by 3 days off.  That's fine with me.
I had to sit down with the new scheduler yesterday and rework my 'jury duty' schedule.  She had me working.  Can't do that.  You get scheduled off for the entire week.  If I'm only there for 1 or 2 days, then she gets to put me back on the schedule.  She's new, and as someone who did her job, it's very, very complicated.  Right now she's prepping for Spring hiring.  For those of you who don't know, Spring hiring is when someone flips a rock over and the bottom dwellers come out and apply for jobs.  Back, when I was doing her job at the Carlisle store, we hired a young man with a moderately low IQ for a loader / lot attendant position.  Little did we know he had a bad habit of barking like a dog.  That's right... woof, woof... bark, bark.  He didn't go over well with customers.  He was a nice kid, otherwise.  I felt bad when he got fired, but you can't bark at customers while you're loading their mulch.
I think it's funny how advertisers are either pausing or stopping their ads on both Tucker's and Jeanine's racist, right wingnut shows.  Faux News says they will not let these two outspoken voices be censored.  Faux News needs to learn this is not censorship.  Advertisers don't just whimsically drop their advertising, a lot of their decisions are based on their 'target' audience.  If that 'audience' complains, or even worse, begins to turn off shows where the talking heads bark every time the Idiot Jerk snaps his fingers, advertisers are going to spend their money elsewhere.  There was a time when such controversy drew an audience, not any more.  Those viewers who stay loyal will be those who are best described as white, racist, misogynistic, supporters of the Idiot Jerk in the White House.  They will always bark when he snaps his fingers...
And what about those celebrities, and sports figures who were paying for their kids to cheat their way into what might be considered an 'elite' college.  It wasn't just celebrities and sports figures who were forking over the cash, anyone who could afford the buckos was cheating their way in.  Tells you a lot about their kids, doesn't it?  Not too smart, or lazy as hell, or most likely both.  Just because you managed to buy your kid a degree from an 'elite' school doesn't mean he's going to stop barking like a dog.
For those who aren't aware, I know a little bit about barking dogs.  I have 2.  They bark to scare the evil bunnies from the yard.  They bark at the stranger who walks down the street.  They will have to go outside.  Sometimes Big Seig will stand in the middle of the back yard and bark.  He is telling the world "I am here, and I am Big Seig."  However, my dogs never bark when I snap my fingers.  They are much too intelligent to do that.

Stretch this way

So, I got up this morning to discover an escort service had left a comment on my blog, you know what I'm talking about, call girls.  From India, of all places, with about 10 links to different websites.  Don't look for it, I deleted it... permanently.  What's funny is that we all know there are dumb shits out there who would click on those links...  These are the same dumb shits who 'like' things on Facebook without knowing, or caring, that those 'likes' are sent to everyone of their 'friends.'  This means that if my friend Brandon 'likes' stretchy jockey shorts that wick away perspiration (he does), everyone is going to know that, because if Brandon 'likes' them, you should 'like' them too.

They're only talking about the underwear

Anyway, I paid my taxes yesterday... that was fun... well, maybe not.  I don't rally mind paying them, they're not that high because East Pennsboro has a lot of large businesses which supplement our tax base.  I keep telling people to move here.  My suburb has the lowest taxes, the lowest crime rate, and one of the best school districts in the area.  For years no one listened.  Now, new housing is Expensive, because people want to move here... except there's only so much land in the district.
The Idiot Jerk in the White House dropped his phony budget yesterday.  No one is taking it seriously. Domestic spending is cut in order to provide money for his racist WALL.
And I saw that Jeanine Pirro shit in her pants with her Anti-Muslim rant.  One can only wonder if she wears the 'stretchy' underwear.  She got a 'rebuke' from Faux News.  I don't think Jeanine understands that Evangelical Christians really don't like Catholics... at all.  They see them as phony Christians and if they ever do take control of the country she will be persecuted beyond belief.
More Tucker Carlson audio recordings have emerged...  Not good.  His problem is that he settled for Tommy John underwear, they only stretch one way and have a serious problem of climbing up your ass... well, his ass at least.
Finally, I do like Nancy's comments on the possible impeachment of the Idiot Jerk in the White House.  She has a really good point.  While impeaching him would create much needed relief, weaponizing him against the Republican Party would do so much more.  I'll be honest here, they create a lot of perspiration in my 'nether' regions and right now I'm looking for something stretchy, which will fit my needs, and will wick that sweat away.

Four Letter Words

Well, today is December 31st, the last day of the year 2018 which was not a bad year for me.  In fact, I'd describe the last 12 months overall as being Good.  That's a 4 letter word, just in case you have problems counting.
When you say 'four letter words' some people's minds automatically gravitate to the vulgar and the obscene.  They demonstrate their puerile baseness, and usually they are Republicans.  For them Poor is a dirty wordTrue is 4 letter word that is an obscenity.  Tucker Carlson used those 2 words when he talked about those damn (another 4 letter word) gathering at the border.  He said something to the effect that "true they are poor but who says we need to take care (2 four letter words) of them."  Tucker Carlson is a true Republican and also a phony Christian.
Of course, this little banter about four letter words has to do with Kellyanne Conway's verbal faux pas yesterday on some Sunday morning talk show, which is rather funny since she neither talked about anything truthful, nor showed any signs of active intelligence.  What else can you surmise when she said "the Democrats want to turn the wall into a four letter word."  I think perhaps the peroxide she uses on her hair has seeped a little too deeply into her roots.  Now we know, Republicans spell wall 'waaalll,' or at least that seems to be how the Idiot Jerk pronounces it.  Holy Shit!!  Did you see what I did?  And I never knew!  The Idiot Jerk is really nothing more than two four letter words!  The truth is before us.  He is a vulgar obscenity...   I knew he was a moral degenerate but shit!  He is also a vulgar obscenity.  Hell, what a way to ring in the New Year.

Diaper This

Hello, it's me...  Here's a picture of me that my Mom had when I was just a little shit, a mere 7 months old.  Aren't I cute?  That's my first Mohawk!!  No, I'm not naked, I'm wearing a diaper.  Some day that may happen again, but for right now everything is safe and secure.

Yesterday, while doing all sorts of odd things around the house, I took some time to scan the headlines.  Talk about a potpourri of bullshit.  Did you know Roger Stone has admitted to lying.... and as part of his punishment he has to publicly admit to doing so and apologize for being a lying sack of shit.  And where did he get these lies?  Guess.  Well, Roger says he got them from some guy named Sam who's with the Idiot Jerk's administration.  So, do you think Roger has started wearing a diaper?  My money says you can Depend upon it. Most likely the Fit-Flex.
And then there was the Tucker Carlson shit show.  He said that because immigrants are poor, and dirty, they should be kept out of our country, especially those dark, brown ones coming up from south of the border.  Tucker's going to stand his ground!  He's not going to cave in to the liberals no matter how many sponsors leave his show.  So is Tucker wearing a diaper?  Probably not, he's choosing to wallow in his shit.  Tucker's proudly proclaiming "I'm a racist, damn you, so stop trying to make me human."
In case you missed it, the Russians are still in the news... but when aren't they.  It seems like every day we get more and more information on how they were working to get their guy elected.  Social conservatives want to believe the Idiot Jerk was elected through divine intervention...  That may be the case, as long as the divinity speaks Russian and calls himself Vlad.
Finally, there was this little, tasty chestnut.  It seems that 62% of voting Americans believe the Idiot Jerk is lying about Russia.  Every time he shrieks 'witch hunt' they think 'asswipe.'  And the 38% who believe the Idiot Jerk?  I suspect some of them have already started hitting the Depends store. They are prepping for that day in the not to distant future when they all start shitting in their pants.
