Yesterday was pretty much a meh day. No workouts are scheduled for the weekend. I did get some nice wordage done on the new book. Oh, and I also had to spend time at the flooring desk. Things were slow. I did talk to a few customers, but none of them were in the buying mood. One of my associates spent about an hour and a half with a wife and husband who are in the planning stages for a new kitchen and bathroom floor. Believe me, they can be the worst because "planning stages" usually means they're going to waste your time. This is play acting for adults, comparing different styles of backsplash tiles to different colors of flooring. Pictures will be taken for future reference. I mean, what better way to spend a drizzly, rainy afternoon than dreaming of what you might what your kitchen and bath to look like. Just don't mention the probable $30,000 price tag for all the improvements they're thinking of doing. That's a real spoiler.
So, while my fellow associate did that, I got in my steps.
And everybody was talking about the warzone Portland had become.
Well, maybe not. Mostly people are talking about the Orange Anus reaching a decision to send troops to a peaceful, northwest city because he saw a hit piece on Fox Entertainment. There's also his loss to Jimmy Kimmel, I'm sure that has his blood seething like boiled over ketchup through his veins. Let's be honest here, Orangie lost in a very public way. He doesn't take humiliation well, and that is what happened. He was all "braggadocios" about shutting Kimmel down only to have his loss smeared all over the front page of every Main Stream Media website.
Some have pointed out his sending troops to Portland might be another attempt to change the topic of conversation away from the Epstein Files, especially since more names were released on Friday. While that might be a part of his decision making process, I'm thinking Sinclair, and Nextstar, and Tegen going against his will really torched his ire. Either, Or, this is just him once again farting into the wind as a way of distracting from his multiple failures. You know it's bad when Karl Rove is on Fox Entertainment telling America that 70% of both Republicans and Democrats think Orangie is taking the country in the wrong direction.
Everything he does is distraction because he's done nothing for the American people, at least the 99%.
