Weather wise, we here in Central PA are supposed to living through a reprise of yesterdays weather, temps in the upper 70s (F), though this time they're guessing that we might actually have rain. Yesterday we didn't. And even though they said that yesterday there would be far more clouds than sunshine they were wrong with that as well. Right now our cloud cover is fairly dense and according to the weather radar there is a large cloud mass moving our way. Let's hope when it gets here there's still rain associated with it.
And yesterday, for a Tuesday when I usually slough things off, was fairly productive. Four loads of laundry were washed and dried (inside because of the threat of rain). I mowed that patch of grass that was tall and weedy. I also completed a 7.2 mile bike ride which included a 3 mile climb, with an average heart rate of 133 through the entire ride. Not bad. And baked a salmon loaf for dinner.

First off, a big correction. Our local ABC affiliate is not WTPA, that call sign disappeared a long time ago, but is in fact WHTM. Sadly, it is owned by Nextstar and because of this it did not air Jimmy Kimmel last night. Approximately 20% of ABC affiliated stations, including stations owned by Nextstar, Tegen, and Sinclair chose to air some sort of other garbage instead. If your local ABC affiliate is owned by one of these groups, grab a pen and pencil and note down the advertisers during their news hours. Then call or email these advertisers to complain. The more complaints they receive, the more pressure they will put on your local affiliate, which needs their money to survive.
And Orangie gave a speech at the United Nations yesterday. A very long speech during which he said that the countries of European leaders were going to hell, because only Orangie knew what he was doing. He also talked about the merchandise he was selling, like hats that said he was right all along. I honestly expected some of them to leave, none did, though more than one claimed afterwards that he's a raving lunatic.
And he wasn't happen about Kimmel's return. He again threatened ABC/Disney, claiming they'd already paid him $16 million. This guy's an idiot. That $16 million was not a win for him, rather it was a teensy weensy bribe to keep him out of Disney's hair. A lot of corporations gave Duffer Don these little bribery gifts when he won, and now they're finding out they were a waste of money. Orangie wants more than money from them. He wants them to genuflect just before they bow down to him. Unfortunately, Orangie doesn't understand there is a big difference between the $16 million he was gifted and the $4 billion Disney lost. Orangie doesn't understand that all corporations will put their greed and self-interest first. Not one of them will genuflect and bow down. And as for Sinclair, and Nextstar, and Tegen? I understand their contracts with Disney will expire in 2026. Just guess who might lose Monday Night Football?
He should have been carried out in a straight jacket. Babbling buffoon.
