We had rain yesterday. This was a good thing. Temps are going to chill down over the next few days. When I went to work, the temp was 74 (F). I'm not really complaining since these temps are great for my heating bill. These warm temps, however, will be coming to an end. By next week our daily highs should be in the mid 50s (F). Seasonal temps are approaching.
Work was very slow. I set up a measure for one of my specialist associates, a position I'm so glad I'm no longer in. The Orange retailer I work for has set up new requirements for flooring specialists. Metrics. Specialists always had goals to work towards, but they were always goals. If you missed your sales for a week, well, that was okay. If you failed to generate a lead, or sign up an individual for a credit card, that was okay. Now those goals are now requirements. Now specialists need to hit all four of their metrics: sales, lead generation, credit card generation, and measure generation every month. If a specialists doesn't hit their metrics, they will be coached. If they miss their metrics for 3 months, they get counseled. Every time you get counseled, you're one step closer to being terminated. I'm an aisle associate now, I don't have to worry about any of that bullshit.
So, the laptop I'm typing on now has a sticky space bar, it doesn't always put the spaces between the words. This is a problem when you write. I also have a bright yellow Samsung gaming laptop that's in pristine condition... almost. I bought it in 2010, meaning that it has dated hardware. It has passed its expiration date for updates, at least as far windows is concerned. So, this afternoon I'm going to try my hand at converting to Linux Mint because Linux has no problem with the dated hardware.
Did I tell you I have Mums?

It's going to be intresting. I also so Harmeet Dhillon, Assistant Attorney General for the Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division, resigned yesterday. Marco. Yuck. I woildnt mind seeing Cruz go either...now that he is surrounded in a flood of blue. You just know he loves that.
