Bluntness

I've also been told I have little tact, so if this offends you simply ride on.

Candy

Yesterday our high did not make it up into the 70s (F) as predicted.  We have the same forecast for today.  I'm doubting if that's going to happen.  We'll make it into the upper 60s (F).  This is fine.  It's time for the autumn leaves to begin falling and mine are barely beginning to change color.  Next weekend we're supposed to be getting rain.  We need it.  Everything is dry here.

Not too much happened yesterday.  I got some work done on the book before heading off to work.

Work was... well, I spent a lot of time doing research on a flooring measure I set up on 10/18.  The job is for a pet clinic, that's a commercial install.  I originally set it up as residential, though I left notes letting the measure tech this was a clinic.  On 10/22, I found out how to set up commercial measure and set one up for the customer.  The residential measure tech went out and measured half of the building, then left, telling the customer he'd come back and finish the job.  He didn't.  Instead he complained.  Yesterday, the customer called, the commercial measure tech has not yet set up a measure date.  That makes me look bad, so I spent 2 hours researching, documenting, and emailing.  So the only good thing about my shift was that there was candy for Halloween, so I placated my frustrations with numerous Kit-Kat bars.  Did you know they have different flavors and colors.

Yesterday was Halloween, and while the administration tried to pull a lot of tricks, all of which failed, there were some delightful treats.

Orangie's $10 billion lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal was thrown out because it was nonsense.  I don't doubt he filed it while he was having a bad diaper day.  His $10 billion lawsuit against the BBC is in deep doo doo.  He has until November 23 to provide written documentation that the BBC purposefully intended to defame his character with slander.  If such paperwork is not filed, the case will be thrown out and he will have to pay all legal expenses.  I don't doubt that this was another bad diaper day lawsuit.  Good luck with him paying any legal costs.

My brother told me a while back that he was seriously considering changing his voter registration from Republican to Independent.  Then yesterday he texted me saying he was so busy with work, he might not be able to vote on Tuesday.  I think he represents those Republicans who have not fallen under the influence of the cult.  I suspect many dyed in the wool Republicans our going to sit the midterms out.  Depending upon what happens after the midterms, they may sit out the 2028 elections as well.  My brother's comment about JD running for president:  😂🤣😂
