Holy Crap! Yesterdays high temp was 73 (F)! Things have cooled down overnight. Our outside temp the morning was 46 (F), and today's high will struggle to get up into the mid 50s (F). Tomorrow we might get up into the mid 60s (F). That's fine. We are in November, after all, my favorite month of the year.
The conversion from Windows to Linux did not go as easily as I had been hoping. Both ports on the laptop had difficult recognizing USB drive. When one of them finally did, the process locked up, or at least I think it did. Anyway, I stopped trying after 2 and a half hours. I will need to do some research.
Otherwise, yesterday was rather meh.
I do get to go in to work today. Fun will be had by all, I don't doubt. Today I have a 6 hour shift. I'm off tomorrow because not only is November special, November 8 is a special day for me.

Another surprising thing is that most of those people I know who supported the Orange Anus are very quiet. For years they'd deluded themselves into believing there was this great, silent majority of conservatives and on Tuesday that delusion was dashed to pieces. There are some crazies on social media who are beyond befuddlement, who are still posting crap, but their numbers have decreased. For those of them thinking that this will change, I have bad news, it will not. The authoritarian pedophile they treasure is going to "hunker down," as they say. By doing so, he is going to continue to make things worse for the GOP. What he cannot win, he will try and destroy. Firing Susie Wiles and installing Stevie Miller shows everyone the direction he's planning on taking. This is the reason he has 8 6 bankruptcies. He is prone to making terrible decisions and then having to turn to someone, usually the Russians, to bail him out. That's not going to happen this time. Career Republicans are seeing their future political lives being destroyed in real time. The turning has begun, and as they turn on him, they will turn on themselves.
