Bluntness

I've also been told I have little tact, so if this offends you simply ride on.

Direct Connection

Outside temps are again in the low 50s (F) and today is predicted to be a replay of yesterday.  The same thing is in store for tomorrow.  Wednesday, however, weather forecasters are calling for rain and a temporary drop in temps.  The cool weather should only last a day or so before daily highs are again predicted to be in the mid to upper 70s (F).  These are rather warm temps for October.  While I'm pleased that I don't have to turn on the heat, I will admit that I'm missing a stronger changing of the seasons.  This doesn't meant that our winter is also going to be warm, except for last year, this is the same weather pattern we'd been experiencing for the past several years.

I did work yesterday.  It was a slow day.  I got my steps in early, and then kept walking.  I'm fairly certain that we didn't make plan last week.  This is how it goes.  This doesn't mean that store associates weren't busy.  A change is coming.  The large area to the left of the front entrance was being cleared out because sometime this week, Christmas is arriving.  Yes, you did read that correctly.  We're getting Christmas in October.  This means that Black Friday is just around the corner.

And my schedule has been changed for the next 3 weeks.  Normally I work on Mondays, that's not the case today.  I'm off.  However this week I work Thursday.  Then for the next 2 weeks I'm back to my 22 hour a week schedule.  I'm fairly certain that this will revert to the 17 hours I've gotten used to.  Sales simply are there.

I've been buying tile mosaics and bringing them home to see which one my work well with the mirror in the bathroom.  So far, I've returned everyone of them.  I want a glass tile, and we just don't carry them in the store.  Last night, I looked online and found one I like.  I shall order a sample to see what it looks like.

Over course Stevie Miller, aka Voldemort, is flipping out.  Some people call him Nazi Boy.  It doesn't make a difference what you call him, this man embodies pure hatred.

Here's one of his many Tweets on Zitter.

There is no "growing movement of leftwing terrorism," there is the Democratic Party, and a large number of Independent voters.  One of the key tenets of Fascism is to demonize your political opponents, so Democrats and Independents are now leftwing terrorists.  Stevie is doing his damndest to portray everyone who doesn't bow down to his neo-Nazi philosophy is hated.  However, Stevie is failing terribly at growing his cult.  On October 4, he Tweeted a hate message about left wing judges, and how Orangie's cultists need to treat and fight them.  Yesterday, a fire broke out at the home owned by Judge Diane Goldstein in South Carolina.  This judge ruled that the Department of Justice cannot access voting information from the state, a decision that pissed off Orangie's Administration.  They desperately want Democratic voting records.  The fire is under investigation.  Is Stevie and his hate Tweet to blame?  Many believe there is a direct connection between the two.

The Bad Idea

Let me repeat something I've said before, there used to be a saying, "April showers bring may flowers," well, while we still may get some of the showers, now we have May Rains.  The temps outside are in the mid 60s (F) and are expected to climb up into the mid 70s (F) this afternoon, and, in case you didn't know, they're going to be accompanied by rains.  Not showers, those happened back in April.  This first set of rains began on Saturday with thunderstorms, and will continue until sometime on Tuesday.  Every single day we will have rains.  Boy, will my garden grow.  We will then have a few days to dry out, but don't fear, rains are expected to start again next weekend.

We've had Mays like this for the past 3 or 4 years and the summers that followed, while there were occasional days when the temps hit the upper 90s (F), were comfortable with most of the serious hot air staying to our south.  Could this be how climate change is effecting the Appalachian mountain area of Pennsylvania.  Will we end up becoming a rain forest?

Here's our current weather map.  The rain, rather than moving west to to east, or even southwest to northeast, is all coming up from the south.  We have a lot of rain to our south.

Anyway, all of this rain is having a dampening effect on our sales.  Who in their right mind would want to buy lawn furniture that will need to be covered because of the rain, for that matter, who wants to sit outside under a lawn umbrella in the rain?  Not I.

And I saw where Vlad dropped the "N" word again, in this case it stands for nuclear.  He said something to the effect that he hoped he didn't have to use nuclear force in the Ukraine.  Is it an idle threat?  Probably.  He is making it out of desperation, however, because he's losing the war he started.  You know, the one that was supposed to take 3 days because the Ukrainians would crumble at the Russian onslaught.  Using a nuclear weapon would define both him and his government as inept beyond belief.  This war he started because there was no one to keep him in check would be seen as one of the biggest blunders in Russian history.  This is why authoritarian governments are bad and democracies are good.  In a democracy leaders are kept in check, they can foist their idiocies upon the general public.  This is something Conservatives will never understand, it's what makes them fascists.  If you don't believe me, just listen to Stephen Miller.  He despises choice and free will.  He needs to control every aspect of you and your family's life.  Children will be taught to obey their parents.  He's a control freak on steroids, and the Orange Anus wants him as his National Security Advisor.  Bad idea.

The Idiot Jerk's evil toad

Well, here it is Tuesday and I decided to take a personal day.  This will give me 3 days off in a row.  Of course, the ASM I talked to wasn't happy.  She doesn't understand that I'm at that age where there needs to be mutual respect between employer and employee.  That isn't always the case.  New associates, younger associates, those with ambition need to bow down to management more than I.  Being retired does have its perks.  The debate is raging as to whether I should go part-time or not.  if I could be guaranteed 30 hours per week, that would be fine.  In retail, however, that not a certainty during January and February.
And isn't the Amarosa bit amusing.  She might be a shallow, self-centered woman, but she does have a knack for pissing off the Idiot Jerk in the White House.  That's funny.  He's not too good at hiding his racism, and she is bringing out the truth, not so from her book, rather it's the Tweets he shits in her direction.  Thanks to her the world now knows his aides need to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements.  Hahahaha.  What else would you expect from a scumbag president?
Oh, and what about Stephen Miller's uncle criticizing him in an essay.  Does that man really thing his opinion is really going to change Steve?  Not in the least.  Miller doesn't care about his heritage or his roots.  What he does care about is white supremacy.  You see, Steve wants to keep American as white as possible for as long as possible.  He has more in common with the people his grandparents were running away from, then he does with his grandparents.  In case you're wondering, this guy's an evil toad.

Of course, the Idiot Jerk in the White House doesn't see him as such, rather he sees Evil Steve as a strong leader, a man who takes a strong stand.  Nope, there's no compromise in Steve.  He hates everything that isn't White Bread American.  He is the Idiot Jerk's evil toad.
