Bluntness

I've also been told I have little tact, so if this offends you simply ride on.

Meanwhile... back on the ranch

Well, I saw Jeb dropped out.  This was inevitable.  He was milquetoast next to Trump's racism and bigotry.  He came across as perhaps a nice guy, even though he wasn't the brightest crayon in the box, and the Republican base is looking for a nasty boy.  More then anything else, however, he was George W's brother.  That really hurt him.  No one in the Bush family seemed to know their name is scarred worse then Ryan Reynold's ass in Deadpool.  Of course, they're super rich so there is a lot they don't understand.  They don't understand the repercussions of having one of the worst presidents in American history standing prominently in their family tree.
So, one wonders what Jeb's doing now that his hours of free time have just increased... dramatically.  Wouldn't surprise me if he didn't stop by the Crawford ranch.  You know?  Where W lives?  And maybe pay is big brother a visit.  And somehow, I don't think they're going to be going on a run together.

In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if he tried to put a womp on his older brother.  Give him a couple of jabs upside his head, all the while screaming "idiot! idiot! idiot!"  Let's face it, Jeb was the one they were grooming for the presidency and W was the one who shit their hopes away like Montezuma's Revenge.  Of course, I may be wrong, the brothers may have a nice run as Jeb chases after W with a baseball bat, all the while screaming "idiot! idiot! idiot!"

The GOP wakes up and kicks a dead horse.

Yesterday morning the GOP got up and kicked a dead horse... again.  You know what I'm talking about, Benghazi.  They're terrified the election of 2016 is going to put another Democrat in the White House.  Instead of doing anything substantial to actually try and win the election, they kick a dead horse.  Why should we expect anything more out of them?  In fact, it seems as though the GOP has cornered the market on two things:  kicking dead horses and shitting in their pants, they do both exceedingly well.  While they will try and salvage a festering scrap of red meat from Clinton's testimony yesterday for the party base, for all intents and purposes they failed.  This is what was to be expected.  They've been failing for years.
And they've been shitting in their pants ever since they managed to get George W. Bush into the White House.  They totally ignored the fact that he got the job thanks to hanging chads and a conservative Supreme Court (amazing how much they liked the Court back then), and with a resounding splat, shit in their pants.  He is considered the 2nd worst president in American history, though I suspect as time goes he'll reach the pinnacle of incompetents.  The GOP will never admit to this, to do so is to admit that they, themselves, are good at only two things, kicking dead horses and shitting in their pants.

Don't believe me?  Look at those jokers who are vying for the Republican nomination.  Crazies, every single one of them.  The fact that the Republican base likes both Trump and Carson, that those two individuals are leading in the polls, is frightening.  And the rest of the clown parade is just as bad.  So, instead of presenting ideas that actually might be workable, they attack.  And they kick dead horses.  And they continue to shit in their pants.  I suspect it might be 2024 before are even able to name a viable candidate for the presidency.

Confederate Atrocity

With the shit that went down in South Carolina I did have to note how the GOP 'wanna be' are reacting to it because I don't think many of the understand this is where they get to act "presidential."  So far Jeb Bush is the only one to have said that damn  confederate flag needs to come down.  The rest of them are being pretty namby pamby   about the whole thing.  Except for Rand Paul, that twit issued a "no comment" statement.  Oops, I don't see him in the White House.  The rest of the bunch are terrified of offending the "southern, white voters."  Speaking of those "southern, white voters," you hear a lot of them defending the confederate flag, claiming it's part of their heritage.  They claim they want to be proud of their ancestors who fought in the Civil War.  They're proud of the fact that their ancestors were pro-slavery and anti-black?

I started searching Southern Heritage and was surprised that in general most websites, except for one, had serious racist overtones.  The one that didn't pretty much smacked down the confederate flag.  Even more interesting are the comments, and there are quite a few.  Most find the flag to be an atrocity.  Those defending the flag?  Well, they're very good at rationalizing their racism.
