Rockin' the Crazy

Our outside temps are in the low 60s (F).  Not bad.  We might hit 80 (F) today, that's fine, too.  Weather forecasters are calling for sun and fun... (I added the fun bit).  We do seem to be in a nice weather pattern for the next few days.  Tuesday things are going to take a turn for the chill, with daily highs only climbing into the low 70s (F).  I can live with that.  We are in Autumn, after all, though I have to tell you the leaves around my house haven't started to change color yet.  In fact, everything is quite green.

Yesterday was interesting.  I had a nice chat with my neighbor from across the street.  She has squirrels in her attic.  Instead of setting a trap up there, she's going through this complicated process of putting some sort of gate in front of the hole the squirrels use as an entrance.  They can exit the attic, but they can't go in.  So, she's got scaffolding set up across the front of her house, and a bright orange rope anchored at the top so she can climb up the steep pitch of her roof.  It's all very complicated and has been in place for several days, but this is how she wants to deal with the situation.

I got a nice 10.71 mile ride in yesterday.  It was a cardio day for Trainwell.  Today is strength day with bands and dumbbells.  Then I have the weekend off, of course I work, so there's that.

And the blonde, conservative bimbette Meg Kelly seems to have decided the witches of Etsy are to blame, or at least partially to blame, for the death of Charlie Kirk.

Personally, I think been rockin' the crazy for quite some time.  At one point she was considered a legitimate journalist, but then she was canceled by NBC after making inflammatory comments about blackface.  That was in 2018 and her settlement was huge.  Always on the right wing fringe, since her termination she has been steadily moving deeper into conspiracy territory, and while she hasn't completely bought into the Mar a Lago face, you can see the direction she's headed simply by looking at her cheeks.

I see Orangie has decided to bail out those farmers his tariffs are crushing.  Yep, he's planning on using the money those tariffs are sending to the US Treasury to help those his idiocy has hurt.  Don't worry, things will get worse.

And there's now an Executive Order raising tariffs on kitchen cabinets.  American cabinet makers are upset because you can walk into any home improvement store and buy a ready made kitchen cabinet for a lot less than a cabinet you'd need to order.  A lot of Do It Yourself people choose this way because a special order cabinet can run from several hundred dollars to several thousand.  

Finally, James Comey has been indicted.   Remember Jimmy?  He was the Attorney General who decided 2 weeks before the election that Department of Justice was going to take a deeper look into Hillary Clinton's emails.  Well it seems Orangie's pissed because Jimmy didn't stop an investigation into Russia's election interference. So, in an odd way, this is Jimmy's Karma.
