Bluntness

I've also been told I have little tact, so if this offends you simply ride on.

Sinclair: The Extortionist

Again we had a morning in the low 80s (F), and again the forecast is for partially cloudy skies, though the chance of rain has increased to 65%.  Tomorrow, if the forecast is correct, our chances of ran will climb to 95%.  We do need the rain.  However, looking the window right now, we have more sun than we do clouds.  The only issue I have with the weather is that today's one of my laundry days, so instead of hanging clothing out to dry, I'll be using up electricity by using my dryer.

I got an nice upper body workout in yesterday morning.  One of the exercises was a reverse fly done with bands that didn't work.  My legs are short, my arms are long, and, as a result my flying never really got off the ground.  We're going to change that one out.  Otherwise, I will admit to being a bit sore this morning. That's fine.

The dance bit I was talking about writing was writ yesterday.  I think it's fine.  This is, however, the first draft and as any one of you who writes will tell, first drafts are subject to change.  Everything depends upon the whim of the muse, if you know what I mean.  Just because a scene has been integrated into the story doesn't mean it's integral.

I did work yesterday.  I even made my measure goal, though I'm fairly certain it's not going to sell.  It's an office that used to be a one car garage.  The customer wants to put down vinyl plank flooring, however there are already several layers of vinyl there including sheet vinyl that's been glued down and a layer of VCT (those are the vinyl tiles they used to put in schools).  All that vinyl will need to be removed and that's costly.

And for those who missed the announcement, Jimmy Kimmel is back.

Unless your ABC affiliate is owned by the Sinclair Group.  They are the crackerjack crazy conservative group who want Kimmel to make a sizeable donation to Turning Point USA, the faux Christian organization founding by Charlie K.  Kimmel is refusing, so Sinclair is refusing to air his shows.  So, if  your local ABC station is owned by Sinclair, watch it for a half hour to see who the local advertisers are, and the complain to the advertisers.  You have to wound Sinclair where it hurst the most, and that's their wallet.  Our local ABC affiliate, WTPA 27, is owned by  Nextstar, one of the groups initially responsible for this conservative fiasco.  The routine is the same for them if they don't air Kimmel.

And yesterday the Orange Anus blamed Tylenol for autism.  This harkens back to those Covid days when he asked if we could inject bleach into our bodies to kill the virus.  Orangie is dumb as a brick.  I'm sure Tylenol's attorneys are already hard at work prepping their lawsuit.

  1. I said it once I'll say it again, for going to the University of Pennsylvania, he is so f****** stupid. And I was actually surprised Kimmel was coming back. If he has to watch his mouth and has stipulations I'm actually surprised. I don't watch late night TV but I may watch it just to see what he's going to say and hopefully he does not give in.

    1. I don't think Kimmel will have any stipulations, Disney lost over $4 billion in 3 days. This is the result of massive cancelations.

  5. Sinclair is behind all this, and their founder is an opportunistic POS.
Sinclair and their advertisers need to be boycotted to the fullest extant.
Perhaps ABC should drop their relation with Sinclair and seek other local tv stations in those markets as affiliates.
