It's Sunday morning and 60 (F) outside. Rain and drizzle is predicted for the entire day. Accuweather warns that this may impact Father's Day celebrations. I thought I'd let you know, just in case any of you are fathers. I don't want you to be disappointed when Mr. Blue Sky stays away.
I worked yesterday and it was boring. I had to stand at the Lead Table for an hour. Most associates are scheduled to work it in an attempt to generate leads; a lead is where you try and set a customer up for a free consultation in the hopes of getting them to buy a very expensive installation, like windows or fencing. Corporate sets a lead generation goal for each store. I checked. None of the leads scheduled at the Lead Table sell, still, it does help the store reach its goal, which is all that corporate wants.
Last evening my friend Betsy from York called to cancel our lunch plans for this afternoon, she has a bad cold. This means I have the day all to myself. For the first time in a long time I'll be able to get a workout in on a Sunday.
And yesterday the Orange Anus got his military parade. In his tiny mind he thought this was going to be a huge event. It failed miserably. The administration got approval form the Park Service for 250,000 tickets and attendance didn't even come close. On top of everything that happened this past week, his birthday parade was a monumental catastrophe, and he knew. This is his pouty/angry face in case you were wondering.
