Comey's Numbers Game

 We're supposed to be under a fog warning.... No fog.  There is a possibility for thunderstorms this morning as well; more rain that we don't really need right now.  Weather forecasters are saying that this weekend should be nice, but I work.  They're also saying that next week is going to be a repeat of last week with a daily chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Things were slow in the home improvement retail world yesterday.  I did set up a measure for a carpet installation in a rental property.  The owner's putting in really cheap carpet.  The owner told me she's going cheap because the tenant that moving out did some serious carpet damage.  She didn't say what, but most of the time the damage is pet related; they have a cat that doesn't always go in the liter box.  Otherwise the day was slow.  I got in lots of steps.

I will have to try and get some lawn work in today.  The grass in the backyard needs to be wacked.  Hopefully, if there are any thunderstorms in the area, they will skirt my house.  

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is getting so many great reviews, I'm thinking it might get Game of the Year.  It was developed by Sandfall Interactive, with a small of team of between 20 and 30 people.  At present, I've completed 17% so I've much more to play.

My Itoh peonies are starting to bloom, and yes, they're yellow and peach in color.

Walmart is raising prices.  That shouldn't surprise anyone.  The Walton family needs more money, so does the Walmart corporation.  They need to keep Wall Street happy, so rather than take a tiny hit, and for them the hit would be rather small, they're going to pass those price increases onto the consumers.  There are a lot of Walmart shoppers in both Blue and Red states, so all will pay, but Red states tend to be poorer, so it will hit them harder.  What will cause Walmart to actually consider taking that hit?  Consumers curtailing their spending.  This will happen automatically as inflation kicks picks up speed.  Unfortunately for most shoppers, billionaires are unaffected by these price increases, so they will try and sit this out.  My advice to anyone who needs to make a purchase, by now while the savings are hot.

Has the Orange Anus completed his giveaway trip to the middle east?  What an asshole.  He's dealing with countries that sponsor anti-Christian terrorists.  While he, himself is in no way shape or form a Christian, there are many Americans and Europeans who are and his gifts are going to keep growing the hate.  Also keep in mind, those billion dollar deals Orangie loves bragging about very rarely come to fruition.

Finally James Comey did something with seashells that has the Cultists running around like their hair was on fire.  For those who missed it, he used 8647.  In slang, 86 means to get rid of because it's no longer necessary.  If we have a white subway tile that's no longer in stock and not coming back, we will 86 the sku number.  So, in a roundabout way, Comey might have possibly said we should 86 the 47th president, i.e. Orangie.  There are a lot of ways to 86 Orangie:  impeach him again; arrest him: make life so difficult for him he flies home to Mother Russia.  The cultists are, however, choosing a different meaning because they are extremists.  Personally, I'd rather have that asshole sitting in a jail cell.

Sizzle

Rest day!  Well, not from work, rather no workout and no cycling scheduled for today.  Tomorrow I la to ride for at least 12 miles.
I sold some carpet yesterday to a woman who's divorcing her husband.  She has 2 kids, one is 6 and the other is 9.  Oh, and she's planning on taking the kids and moving down to South Carolina so she can be with her boyfriend.  She said her parents are going to be upset, but then they "don't really know him," as in the boyfriend.  I was also told she really thinking about her kids... as well as herself.   Oh, and she's divorcing her husband because he never completes anything.  There was more negativity regarding her soon to be ex, and I ignored it.  The truth is the only person she's thinking about is herself.  She will totally disrupt the lives of her children just so she can be with her boyfriend.  I feel bad for the kids since they are the ones who are going to suffer the most.  You know things are going to go bad when people start using the innocent to justify their actions.
Oh, and for a big laugh, James Comey's book is coming out.  Of course, Faux News won't go near it with a 10 foot poll.  Any thing critical of the Idiot Jerk is off limits because... well, he's friends with Rupert Murdoch, for one, and secondly, he exemplifies everything bad about Conservatives.  Their approach has always been to ignore and lie about everything which makes them look like scumbags.  The more terrible the Idiot Jerk becomes, the deeper they fall into attack mode.  Like a wild animal in a trap, they're going to start chewing off their own limbs.  Paul Ryan's decision is the perfect example.
Anyway, we're about half way through April and the temperature is forecast to go up into the mid 80's (F).  That's hot for this time of year.  Steamin!  And guess who has to work today, and tomorrow, when the temperature is again supposed to be hot.  Oh, and guess who has off for 4 days when the temperature is going to flip flop faster then the Idiot Jerk in the White House (think Trans Pacific Trade agreement).  That's right.  I'll have off and it's going to be cool and rainy.  I need to remind myself that warmer days are coming.

And we all know warmer days are not what the Crazy Conservatives want at all.

Oh, and a little tidbit, rumors have it that the FBI raid on the Idiot Jerk's attorney let them snag voice recordings of.... guess who?  Sizzle.  Sizzle.

Trump & May, losers in arms

So, something funny happened yesterday in the UK - Theresa May and her Conservative Cronies' plans to cement their power ran into a bit of a sledge hammer.  The voting public not only humiliated her, they proved that her approach to Brexit was anything but satisfactory.  I'd like to say she is the female counterpoint to our Idiot in the White House, but I don't know if she's quite that... stupid.  What is it about Conservatives that keeps them from comprehending they need to deal with a majority of the people?  We had James Comey testify yesterday, and even though only the public bit was televised, he made the Idiot in the White House look bad.  And no Republican stood to defend him.  Remember, the general viewing audience got to see a portion of his testimony.  We didn't get to see the real juicy bits, which is probably why no one stood up to defend the Idiot.  They all know now.  As for Theresa May?  Well, she's going to have to bend over and kiss somebody on the ass in order to form a coalition government, which means her party is not going to be calling the shots.
As for the Idiot in the White House?  His supporters are still staying loyal to him, to a certain degree, but as time moves on, they will continue to drift away, once again become silent.  In fact the latest Quinnipac Poll has his approval rating down around 34%... and that was prior to yesterday's smack back by Comey.  I'm sure that future polls will be even lower.  The GOP isn't running scared yet, but they don't seem inclined to put their wagons in a defensive circle around the Idiot.  This is life when you're a loser.

Trump does the LImbo

A long, long time ago, when the Idiot in the White House was still a young man, a dance craze called "The Limbo Rock" swept across the country.  Who would have known way back then that Chubby Checker was singing prophecy in regards to every presidents administration.   You see, there's this stick out there called "Approval Ratings"  and every president needs to dance under it.  That's right, they do "The Limbo Rock."  In the past 50 years or so, for Democratic Presidents that bar has gotten a little low, but there's never been much doubt of their dancing under it.   However, the Idiot's ratings keep going down, down, down, which means his bar keeps getting lower, and lower, and lower, and he's an old, fat guy, so I suspect he's about as low as he can go.  He may think he's dancing around reality by Tweeting his lies and deceitfully pandering to his supporters, but that's nothing more than a smoke screen.  And the same truth goes for the Republican Party, their bar is also going lower, and lower and lower.  Another truth is that when they fall they're going to blame someone else, they always do.  GOP loyalists will say it was the guys holding the bar, you know, they are the ones to blame.  It's their fault.  Of course, we know the truth.

And with Comey's testimony today, well, I suspect that bar is going to get quite a bit lower.  Won't be long now before the Idiot starts sacrificing people, forcing them to dance under the bar of justice.  Like any good Republican he'll be pointing fingers saying "It's his fault!" or "It's her fault!"  Standard behavior for the Idiot in the White House.

The Price of Loyalty

So, I called off work today.  Rainy weather, combined with a pressure system has my arthritis aching... and I just didn't feel like trying to sell carpeting or blinds to non-existent customers; rain truly does effect the footprints passing through our store.  Even though it's been over a year since I last called off, I still got the same, curt response:  "okay, I'll put you in," and then the disconnect.  This is how life is, there is no question of my loyalty, just the aggravation of being short staffed, even on a weather crappy day.  They're not going to use that as a reason to fire me... unlike the Idiot in the White House.
You see, one of the Idiot's many problems is that he believes that because a minority party managed to squeeze him into the Oval Office through the back door of the Electoral College, he is now the Supreme Commander.  Someone needs to tell him that the Supreme Commander is only a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and even though he looks cartoonish as hell, Disney would never hire him to play that part.  This is, however, beyond the Idiot's comprehension level; he's a business man, remember.
The Idiot, it seems, feels that he deserves unwavering loyalty, a dedication which supersedes all that is fair and good and right.  He wants people to say "yes sir," with out question.  Democracy?  Get over it, people.  The Idiot is in charge... right.  I suspect there is so much seething hatred running through the Idiot's brain right now just about everybody is disloyal, which means all of his sycophants must really have their hands full.

And this is fine, you know?  Because all of the disrespect people have for the Idiot is burning little holes in his brain, and instead of learning from his mistakes, he just fills those holes with lies and blame.  The Idiot loves to blame.  He claims that fake media is to blame... not that it isn't in a minor way.  What he's done is throw red meat to the media, and they're on it like a dog on a bone.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if all of this disloyalty isn't making the Idiot rather paranoid.  I mean... who is loyal to him?  The military?  Hhhhmmmm, could be?.... not.

Yestival and... of course...The Idiot's amateur hour

So, I'm sitting here waiting for tickets to go on sale for Yestival 2017.  Most of the original members of the group 'Yes' will be at the Hershey Theatre on August 14, and I couldn't think of a better venue to see these neo-classic rockers.  The pic below is close to where I'm going to be sitting, those a bit closer to the center.  Show should be great!

Prior to shows, clouds will actually move across the ceiling and when the theatre darkens the stars come out.  Neat.

And the terribly choreographed song and dance amateur hour continues at the White House.  This morning I was sitting in a restaurant having breakfast with my brother when my phone vibrated with a BBC New update, that's right, the BBC, one of my favorite news sources,  According to them, the Idiot threatened Comey in a Tweet, something about 'hoping there aren't any tapes' of conversations between the two of them.  I know some are thinking the Idiot did the recording, but me? Not so much so.  I'm wondering if the Idiot, himself, might not be worried Comey might have been wearing a wire.  Ah, I'm sure those conversations would be juicy as hell.  No pussy talk.  Just an angry Idiot furious that he might be one of those under investigation.  Now wouldn't that just be ducky?

And, of course, by now, everybody who is anybody is shouting out about the Idiot's slightly veiled threats.  This is how the resistance grows, how every time he opens his trap his minority of supports shrinks.  I'd say pardon my language but... what's to pardon?  This guy is dumb as a fucking brick.

Trump is much worse than Nixon

So, Comey is gone.  I heard that yesterday afternoon and had to laugh.  That's right.  I think there are some Republicans out there who are finally beginning to speculate that the Idiot is going to use their Brand to wipe his ass.  And they deserve it.  For years they have hate mongered against Centrists and Progressives and Independents.  They have shrieked about a war on Christianity, using that claim to constantly attack.  As I've said all along, this whole thing is Karma.  It was Hillary's Karma to lose, not so much because she was bad and ran a bad campaign, she lost so the Idiot could win.  If you thought her Karma was bad, don't even attempt to contemplate how bad the Idiot's is, for this is going to be a Universal Payback.  And for the GOP?  This is going to be a smack down, smack back like nothing they have ever seen.  You see, the Idiot is going to end up making Richard Nixon look like a choir boy.  Repercussions are going to rattle through the bones of the wealthy for years to come.  And those who support the Idiot?  They will lose faith in a political system that doesn't fuel their hatred or seed their bias among others.  This might be their last stand.

There is a light at the end of this tunnel, and every time the Idiot does something stupid, which seems to be daily, it gets a little brighter.  In the end, I do not doubt that the Idiot will chose to exile himself to Russia from where he can Tweet daily about his hatred for all that is good and American.
