Oh, Canada!

 We're chilly this morning.  According to Accuweather, our outside temp was 39 (F) when I rolled out of bed.  We might hit 55 (F) today.  That's fine.  I don't mind Autumn.  In fact, I enjoy all of our 4 seasons.  Let's be honest, who doesn't mind snuggling under warm blankets in the dead of winter, maybe it's because so many of us enjoy that wombish feeling.  And summer, it's just as nice to strip off those blankets because in our hearts we all really enjoy... stripping?

My back is a little stiff this morning, so I must have turned the wrong way in my sleep.  Being someone who's had to deal with some serious back issues, I am well versed in what needs to be done.  Besides my morning meds of Lisinopril, Atorvastatin, and Omeprazole ('ve a tiny hiatal hernia), I took two Naproxen.  Most backaches are caused by inflammation.  For me, 2 things work:  Naproxen and walking.  I'm driving down to the Lebanon VA to get my annual flu shot and Covid vaccine.  That place is big, so I'll be getting a lot walking in.  This afternoon, I'll be getting another bike ride in, maybe I'll be somewhere in Spain.

I did work yesterday.  It was so slow.  Our Halloween decorations are almost sold out.  Here's a hint for those of you who like outdoor Halloween decorations:  wait until the reduced tags make an appearance.  Right now our decorations are all 50% off.  Oh, and in case you're wondering, we're still making a profit on those markdowns.

And the Orange Anus is lava angry with Canada because they ran an anti-tariff ad quoting the Republican Demi God Ronald Reagan.

Holy Crap!  Thank you Ontario for setting fire to his Depends.  For those who haven't heard Reagan's message calling for Free Trade, he talks about how tariffs lead to retaliation, and how retaliation leads to terrible economic woes.  So, what does the Orange pedophile in what's left of the White House do?  He retaliates.  You can bet Ontario expected this.  You see the world is so over Orangie.  By now, most countries know how to play him, and play him they do.  They are moving past the United States and finding other more reliable trading partners.  In a world economy, isolationism is not a good thing.  Because of corporate greed, most manufacturing jobs have moved over seas.  Those jobs are not going to come back unless a majority of Americans decided to take a very large pay cut.  Believe me, the American people will stomp the shit out of the conservative movement before that happens. 

Musk and the Nerdy Young Men

 Today's high temp is supposed to be in the low 40s (F), however, we are planning for a quick dip tomorrow.  Today we're supposed to have partly cloudy skies, tomorrow?  A mixed bag of precipitation including a little bit of snow flurries, and a little bit of ice, and a little bit of rain.  I'm off both today and tomorrow, so I'll get my shopping done today and then home-it tomorrow.

I did work yesterday.  I sold one of my installs and got a measure, otherwise it was very slow.  The aisles were empty.  To pass my times, I chatted with associates and got my laps in: over 12,000 steps.  My name was drawn for the Salesperson of the Month award.  The prize was a $25 gift card for the store.  I used it to get furnace filters and some seed starter kit.  I'm thinking of putting in a few tomato and pepper plants in my front yard along with the Dahlias, maybe create some sort of flowery, Veggie potpourri garden.

When I did get into work yesterday, I saw that they had put our DEI board back up... sort of.  All the information that had been there is once again posted.  However, the three words across the top, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, have been removed.  A majority of Americans don't realize how DEI works, however they are being fed a diet of racial hatred by a small group of white people who believe that unqualified  people of color are being put into positions of importance simply because of their skin color.  If that were the case, this country would be lurching backward guided solely by pandemonium and chaos and that is not happening.

Of course, the stock market didn't crash yesterday because the Orange Anus caved.  Reports coming in were that the crash on Wall Street was going to be brutal, a bloodbath some called it, and that scared the bejesus out of him.  Hearing him tell it, however, both Mexico and Canada caved.  We are oh, so lucky that president of Mexico, and the Prime Minister had the receipts to prove the agreements Orangie said he demanded had already been in place.  Even more amusing was the fact that the 10,000 troops along the Mexican boarder were already in place.  CNN talked about the Canadian deal, but I'm not aware of any other Main Stream Media outlet posting this information.  

And more and more Americans are hating that fact the Elonia is involved in dismantling the government.  People just do not want him and his bunch of young male henchies having access to their personal information.  And... just a quick question, am I the only one who noticed that Elonia's proteges are young, nerdy males?  The oldest is 24 and the youngest is, I believe 19.  Could it be that Elonia is revealing a certain preference for whom he wants to associate?  Is it because they think he's a god?  I mean, it does make one wonder, doesn't it?

Evil Canadians

Sunday, my last day of work for a while. 
Tonight is Bethesda's E3 showcase, starting at 9:30 PM EST.  I'll be watching.  I'm also a bit leery.  There are a lot of so called leaks out there saying their next AAA game, Fallout 76, is going to be an MMO, (that's Massive Multiplayer Online).  I don't play MMO's, single player only.  None of my friends play MMO's.  Sadly, mulitplayer games make a lot of money and, unfortunately, game publishes tend to go where the money is.  So far Bethesda Game Works has bucked this trend - let's hope they continue.
Oh.... and all that G6 bullshit?  I looked at that picture Merkel tweeted of the Idiot Jerk sitting there like an obstinate prick and thought... 'this is exactly what he wants.'  He is the star of the show.  He is creating the disruption Putin wants so much, the Idiot Fool who will burn so many bridges out of stupidity.  He is the Idiot Jerk who has failed to learn a single thing from his four bankruptcies.  As for our Allies?  They are learning what it feels like to be a contractor on one of the Idiot Jerk's projects.  He will stab them in the back when ever he gets the chance.  Sad to say, his supporters actually believe he's standing up to the evil Canadians.  Shit!  I can't believe I just wrote that.  It made me laugh.  I mean, those Evil Canadians!   How long will we have to wait until he starts talking about building a wall between the United States and Canada to keep out those Evil Canadian illegal aliens?  And, of course, he has John Bolton on side which means every Allie is an enemy.
How more absurd can this get?  Well, in 2 days he's going to be meeting with Kim Jon Dumb for a repartee of Big Macs and Diet Cokes.  Sadly, for the Idiot Jerk, Kim Jon Dumb isn't that dumb, in fact, he will probably play the Idiot Jerk as the Fool of the Century (and the century is not that old).  Who is going to come out of that meeting smelling like roses?  Kim, because he wrangled the Idiot Jerk into meeting with him in the first place.  And if things go well between the two?  Well, jumping Jehoshaphat, isn't he the kind of Allie we want on our side.  He'd be so much better than those Evil Canadians.

No doubt the Idiot Jerk found a live mouse in his Diet Coke.
