Bluntness

I've also been told I have little tact, so if this offends you simply ride on.

You Get What You Pay For

We've got nice fall day forecast for today.  This afternoon our high temp should be in the low 70s (F).  Things will cool off a bit though, and tomorrow's daily highs should be in the mid 60s (F).  Still, when you're this close to November, that's a nice daily high.  I understand that some long range forecasts are predicting we have a stormy winter.  They didn't specify rainy or snow, just stormy.

Yesterday was my long day at the store.  I was one of 2 aisle associates scheduled, so once again I played specialist.  I honestly don't mind this.  I had to deal with a whiny customer on the phone regarding an installation.  He had a lot of non-essential complaints he thought were going to make him special, like the fact that he was on dialysis.  He was having carpet put on a staircase and had been measured several months ago, but decided to be measured again.  He claimed he was in church when the measure tech called, and then the measure tech showed up a day early.  The customer also claimed that he had to scream at the tech through his Ring camera to go away.  In instances like this, the best thing to do is let the customer squawk.  I uncanceled his old quote and on his third credit card number the charge when through.  His total cost $276 and change.  This customer is putting the shitiest possible carpet on a staircase.  You get what you pay for.

Otherwise my day was rather boring.  I did get in over 15,000 steps.

Evidently the Orange Anus is still royally pissed at Obama's speech in Ohio, because he posted a 4 page scree of nonsense on Truth Social.  I glanced at it briefly and decided someone else must have written it since there were very few words in all CAPs, and there was punctuation that defined phrases and sentences.  Usually his grammatical errors overwhelm his shrieking, little diatribes.

And the WaPo had an article about Mar a Lago this morning including a pic of the ballroom.  The first thing that went through my mind was that Saddam Hussein's Cheesecake Factory is a franchise.

After seeing the Vanity Fair article on Kushner, certain questions crossed my mind.  If Orangie was such a loyal asset to his blow bro Vlad, why would the Russkies hack Kushner's phone?  Was it because they knew Orangie and his crime family were double dealers?  Was it one of our agents that did the hit the Saudis paid for?  I mean, really, I do hope Kushie follows through with his threat to sue Vanity Fair, the discovery phase should be quite interesting.  I'm also wondering if the Saudis and the Israelis feel they got their money's worth?  With all of this corruption bubbling to the surface, do they now think they got what they paid for?

One thing this October surprise does reveal is that Orangie's crime family is far, far worse than any of us could have imagined.  They make the mafia look like the Boy Scouts.  In case anyone is wondering, this is why the bottom is falling out of the GOP.  This and that fact that Orangie thinks Nikki Minaj has a nice ass.
