I've also been told I have little tact, so if this offends you simply ride on.

Republicans have a Biden Conundrum

We had another night with our low temps in the mid 30s (F).  The car windows have a bit of a glaze on them, but there's still no frost on the pumpkin.  We're in for a bit of a warming trend with tomorrow's high expected to be in the low 70s (F), but after that our afternoon temps will be topping off in the mid 60s (F).  These are seasonal temps and to be expected.

Retail was slow yesterday.  Only 2 associates were scheduled for the flooring department, another aisle associate and myself.  This means I had specialist responsibilities without having to concern myself with specialist job requirements.  I like this.  And I set up a measure for a pet clinic!  The customer told me that there are no pets there right now, they owners decided to take a break.  This is considered a commercial job, so I sent emails to those with a need to know.  Since I set up the measure only the store will get credit.  While I did talk to a few other customers, foot traffic in the department was light.  This is not good, since now is the time when people usually begin the process of the installation of holiday carpet.  We have our signs up letting customers know what the cut off date is if they want new carpet or vinyl planks installed before Thanksgiving.  So far, no one seems to interested.  I wonder if it's the economy.

Otherwise yesterday was meh.  I did stop off on the way home from work to pick up a frozen pizza.  That's the current routine now.  Howie and I share.

While I was at work yesterday, someone sent me a video with Scottie Bessent being interviewed by Kristen Welker asking if she'd have been as forceful if she'd been interviewing a Democrat.  I texted back, "most assuredly," and then reminded the individual that the Republicans have a Biden conundrum.

This administration will never admit to any failure, always needing to point a fraudulent finger of accusation at someone else.  There "go to" target is Biden, however, time has run out for their blame game.  At a certain point in every administration responsibility falls squarely on their own shoulders.  People are fed up with them pointing their crooked little finger of corruption at the president who left office over 600 days ago, and now they're getting publicly schooled.  Republicans hate this.  They deride accountability as if it were a poor man's suit, with patched elbows and threadbare knees.  What they hate even more is that this schooling is picking up speed.  This creates a terrible conundrum for them.  Who do they blame for the price of gas, for the cost of groceries, and increased medical expenses if not Biden?  If they had a spine this wouldn't be a problem, however they have to protect their boss, the failed businessman who has 6 bankruptcies.  They would rather go to their political grave rather than point their fingers at him.
