Bluntness

I've also been told I have little tact, so if this offends you simply ride on.

The Ocotpus

Hello Thursday.  This is my day off!  I'm excited.  The outside temps are a bit cool, the high is only going to climb into the low 60s (F).  Tomorrow, however, we'll be hitting the 70s (F) with warm, sunny days in our forecast.  I know it will eventually cool off since it's the season for cooling off.

Yesterday work was... as expected, slow.  I did sell a carpet installation.  The Flooring department is doing exceedingly well.  By the time I'd left last evening we'd racked up over $22,000 in sales for the day.  Believe me when I tell you management is very happy.  Sadly, all of these sales will increase our sales plan for next year because American capitalism demands at least a 4% increase in sales every year and, as every one knows, that means increased pricing.  Greed's hunger is never satisfied.

Because Howie's bladder is still puppy sized, I usually get up in the wee hours of the morning to take him outside.  This morning, as his puppy legs trotted him over to what's becoming his favorite pee spot, I heard a noise from outside of the fence.  Looking up, I saw a large possum, or as some would like to say, opossum, going into an old groundhog hole on the hill behind the house.  However, instead of going down the hole completely, he sat in the entrance and watched Howie, and then turned in looked at me.  Possums are good!  They eat small rodents.

And Howie got an octopus.  He loves it.

Here's an interesting bit:  Remember Kristen Sinema?  Well, she's not running for reelection, however she does have a bit of a campaign nest egg, so she's spending it on herself with trips to Paris and other places.  After her performance in the Senate, where she seemed much more Republican than Democrat, this should not be a surprise.

And the Orange Anus had a women's meet and greet yesterday that was arranged by Fox, filled with an audience of female cultists.  They laughed when a joke was made about Amber Thurman.  Social media was not happy.  As one woman said, "I'd crawl across broken glass to vote against Trump and for Harris."  For those who don't know, Amber Thurman died of an infection after she was refused a life-saving, medically required abortion.  This meet and greet was the GOP's idea of fixing the problem Trump has with women.

And Harris did an interview on Fox yesterday.  She hit a homerun.  This was not what Fox was expecting, so they cut the interview short after 25 minutes.  Harris was verbally pummeling the hell out of Brett Bair.  And the ending was abrupt, one of those "oh, look, they're telling me our time is up," and it was over.  Ouch.

Lily on the Bed

Good morning!  A little later than usual, but I had breakfast with my brother and we both arrived a little late.  I, because he sent me a text telling me he was going to be late and I wasn't expecting the traffic, he, because he was busy feeding his farm animals and... there was frost on his windshield.  That's right, the temps dropped down to 31 (F).  We finally had our first (late) frost of the year.  For those of you whose hands have been sweaty with anticipation, we can no have Indian Summer.

And, of course, I had to listen to the new Beatles song Now and Then.  Having lived through Beatlemania, I found it quite touching.  I'm sure many who lived through the Beatles will be reaching for a tissue.

Yesterday afternoon I went over to my new neighbors to ask her to turn down her music, when I can hear the vocals through the wall it's too loud, and instead of apologizing, the first thing she asked was "do you like the song?"  Dear me.  We're on very friendly terms, so the conversation was nice, however she told me she misses her mom, that they used to get together every day and now her mom lives an hour away.  Her husband works for US Postal Service down in Lancaster and he doesn't want to transfer up to Harrisburg, so he commutes an hour every day; that will get old fast.  This is actually the first home they've ever purchased, mostly, I suspect, because it was painted gray and had new appliances.  Other than that, I don't think they put a lot of thought into it.  I wouldn't be surprised if it's not back on the market in a few years.

When I went up to bed last evening, as is now the case, she was already there.

So, what's going to happen with the Republican held congress?  Not much.  At least not for the next year and a half.  They are going to stamp their feet and shriek "no, no, no," until they're red in the face, notice I didn't say blue in the face, that's something that will never happen to a hardline cult member.  And when the more reasonable Democrats take back control of the House of Representatives, the Republican cultists will dig themselves in even deeper, unless, of course they get primaried out or simply voted out.  When that happens you can rest assured they'll cry Voter Fraud since that lie is now part of their DNA.

Interesting bit from Arizona:  Kristen Sinema is polling behind both the Democrat and Republican candidates because she, too, is stupid.  She thought she'd splinter people off from both parties and win as an Independent.  She doesn't understand that her constituents, most Democrats, see her as a failure.

And, joy of joys, more polls are coming out showing that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is siphoning voters away from Trump, not Biden, as the cultists thought.  This is because Republicans are stupid.

The Window

We're supposed to have enduring flurries today, my turn of phrase.  Accuweather's Wintercast (winter forecast) has us in a snow event: flurries for 8 hours.  The temps are cold, 29 (F) and are only predicted to top in the mid 30s.  Tomorrow it's back up into the 50s.  The long range forecast has the temps seesawing, but then we're only a little over 3 weeks from Spring.

Every now and then we do things we later regret, such a thing happened to me yesterday.  My backdoor is usually unlocked during the day because the dogs go out, sometimes a lot, depending upon how many bunnies decide to run through the yard.  For some unknown reason, yesterday morning I turned the little tab on the doorknob to lock in the morning.  No problem.  I could still go outside, I just needed to leave the door open.  Of course, yesterday was windy and while Lily and I were out cleaning up dog doo, a gust of wind slammed the door shut.  Shit.  I was locked out.  Both front and back doors were locked tight.  Double shit.  My only access was through an unlocked window.  That meant climbing up on a small storage unit, forcing the window open and pulling myself up 5 feet to clamber in through the opening.  Oh, and I forgot to tell you Biggie was inside.  As I teetered on the window sill, half in and half out, he took advantage of me.  Yep, he gave me a face bath with his rather large tongue.  In spite of my situation, locking myself out and all, I had to laugh.  And, changes have been made so I never lock myself out again.

My entry was through the little window on the right

If anyone had any doubts about Tulsi Gabbard being a Russian asset, they should have been dispelled last evening when she compared Joe Biden to Hitler.  Rumors of this have gone back to the days when she was a Senator from Hawaii.  She changed her party affiliation from Democrat to Independent, though sides with Republican Right Wing extremists.  I don't doubt she's bitter about being a failed politician.  Trying not to be relegated as a 'has-been,' she's chosen a path that will take into the only loving arms that will have her.

An interesting side note about Tulsi:  her sister runs a personal security business that has only one client, Kristen Sinema, another loser trying to give female politicians a bad name.

Snow

So far Sunday's sort of foggy, sort of frosty, overcast and gray.  We do have snow on the ground, but our current precipitation is mixed, with snow and drizzle.  There is snow on the ground, but not on the sidewalks or roadways; no slush at all.  Temps more than a bit above freezing so salting is unnecessary.

I've a load of sweatpants in the washer..  I have been regularly checking the KW hours I use, and they are decidedly lower than in the past; thank you new dryer.  This month is still going to be pricey, mostly because P.P. & L. raised their rates.  According to the info they provide, the average family uses around 1000 KW hours per month.  Me?  I'm between 475 and 500.  I think my bill is expensive.  I can't imagine paying $1200 to $1400 a year for electricity, yet that's what the average family here in Central PA has to pay.

Biggie got up 3 times last night.  Twice he had to go potty outside.  When he's on his meds, that should stop.  Right now, he's sleeping on the sofa downstairs with a T-Rex, like a 2 year old with one of his toys.

Our dusting of snow is already beginning to melt.  This may just be a foreshadowing of what's coming our way on Thursday and Friday.  The Big storm moving across the country will be overhead by then.  I'm scheduled to work on Thursday, however if the roads are crappy I'll stay home.  Here's what the back yard looks like now.

Like the snow, the fallout from Sinema's party switch is still falling.  While some Republicans cheered at the Democrat's loss, they were few and far between, had she chosen to caucus with them, that might be different.  Neither party wants to rely on a loose cannon to get their agenda either passed or blocked, especially since a small number of Republicans and Democrats have demonstrated a willingness to cross the aisle.  Compromise seems to be returning making Sinema's vote even more obsolete.

And now, a word about Aunt Vicky.  A Republican congresswoman who was primaried out in these past midterms, Vicky Hartler has made national headlines over her tearful plea to shut down the Marriage Equality Act.  Her gay nephew has publicly called her out; her office has no comment.  Her tears represent more than her homophobia, there's anger and terror in those tears.  Aunt Vicky, as are many intolerant Christians, is bitter because her strict religious beliefs are no longer being seen as an authority.  Christianity is, in fact slowly evolving.  This doesn't mean that Christianity is becoming kinder and gentler, just that the voice of one the most stringent apostles is being muted.

Bibi's good, Sinema's bad

Hello Saturday!  We're having another sunny day that's going to be on the coolish side.  Temps are predicted to rise into the low to mid 40s (F), which is fine with me.  I do get to work today.  1 PM to 7 PM.  This is the shift I worked during the pandemic and I liked it.  Being a morning person, everything is pretty much done before noon, so being paid very well to sit at a flooring desk for 6 hours is not bad.

Biggie's appointment has been made for his BIG blood test.  He's scheduled for December 20, and will be there for a full 8 hours.  The last time he was at the Vet that long was when he had his little man jewels removed.  The cost to definitely prove he has Cushing's Disease is $469.  How's that for a bite out of the pocketbook?  Not only will the test give him an idea of which glands have the little tumors, but also indicate what his med dosage will be.  That dog's going to be on more meds than me.

I had chosen a ride through Arcadia, Maine, for my treadmill jaunt yesterday.  It looked like it might be relaxing.  Well, 3.5 minutes into it YouTube popped in commercials that I skipped, and then 4 minutes later there were more commercials I needed to skip through, and again, 3.5 minutes after that there were more commercials.  I shut down the video after 16 minutes because by then there had been 4 sets of commercial breaks.  The problem is some content providers want to monetize their videos and so they allow commercials, and Youtube wants you to pay for a subscription to get out of commercials.  Sorry, but I'm not on Youtube long enough to justify a monthly payment, and there are plenty of content providers who aren't really interested making a pittance from their videos.

This being said, there are a number of people I do follow on YouTube, content providers whose originality stands out, like Dylan Bibi.  He's French, speaks very fast, tends to drink a lot of beer, and is both funny and original.

Evidently Kari Lake has filed a lawsuit against Maricopa county claiming election fraud.  This was to be expected.  Like her lord and savior, Donald Trump, her shrieks and lawsuits will only benefit the Democrats of Arizona.

And, speaking of Arizona, there is still quite a bit of fallout regarding Kristen Sinema.  Most people have come to the conclusion she made the only move she could knowing Democrats were going to primary her out in the next election cycle.  Some think she will not run for re-election, I'm betting that's not going to happen.  Even if she received every independent vote, she'd still need either Republican or Democrat voters to win, and both parties hate her.  There is a theory, however, that I do find attractive and it goes like this:  wanting that 51st seat in the Senate, Biden will offer her an nice ambassadorship, which Sinema will accept.  That would allow Katie Hobbs to replace her with strong minded Democrat.  Sinema is not stupid, but she is totally self-serving.  She will do whatever will benefit her the most.

That self-serving Bitch

We've got a sunny Friday outside.  Again, the temps are forecast to rise into the low 50s (F), which is not bad for this time of the year.  Predictions are that we're supposed to stay this warm until the middle of next week, then temps just might drop.  That's okay.

I talked to the Vet last night about Biggie.  I nixed the idea of doing an ultra-sound on his belly.  There is only a 15% chance this little tumor he has is located on his adrenal glands.  Instead, I'm opting for the low-dose dexamethasone test, which has good results at locating the location.  Two days after the bloodwork is completed, he should be on meds.

Cori, my cover artist, informed me yesterday that the cover for The Body Under Ice should be ready next week.  I'm finishing up the last chapter.  Then there will be a revision; I have notes on some changes that need to be done before it goes through the editor.  As in the past, I'll be looking for 2 blog readers who want to provide input before the final draft gets published.  As payment, these readers get an autographed paperback copy. They are on a schedule though, meaning it's not something you can take your time to leisurely read through.  Interested people should contact me through the email address I have listed in my profile.

And now, about this self-serving Bitch.

She changed her party designation to Independent.  Honestly, when I saw that this morning I wasn't surprised in the least bit, however, I did blurt out two words: that Bitch.  Comments I've seen in the Washington Post, and the NYT have almost all focused on the fact that she's always been self-serving, prioritizing her own need for attention over everything else.  She doesn't give press conferences, doesn't openly seek the limelight, but everyone is always talking about her.  The minute Warnock won, she became irrelevant.  She could be ignored.  No one was ever going to be wondering what Sinema was going to do, or if she was going to vote with her party, never again.  She would be just another Democrat.  So, what does this self-serving Bitch do?  She changes party.  Sorry, but congressman who change parties halfway through their terms are always asswipes.  By getting elected, Sinema made a commitment to the people of Arizona who gave her their votes that she was going to represent them.  Now, she's done something worse than simply ignoring those voters, she has dismissed their importance with a simple 'fuck you.'  And it puts her in the spotlight.  Paraphrasing Steven Beschloss, she has put herself on a whole new level of attention whore.  Some are saying she changed to Independent in an attempt to save her political career.  What career?

Burning Bridges

 Hello Tuesday!

Yesterday was... well, let's just say I spent over 5 hours sitting at the flooring desk.  I set up 2 customers to have their floors measured, one for carpet the other for viny, as well as a blind installation.  I was busy in the early afternoon, but as the hours wore on everything pretty much came to a boring stop.  The flooring specialist who handed in his two-week notice has decided that he's not going to work those 2 weeks and has been a no call, no show for several days.  Idiot.  He's going to get a 'non rehire' termination.  This is called burning your bridges.

The new wall clock I ordered will be arriving tomorrow.  I will need to zip over to the store later this afternoon to get some stronger mounting screws since this clock weighs more than the old clock.  I will also probably pull out my stud-finder.  While I'm there, I'll be picking up Biggie's refill prescription for Gabapentin.

Speaking of Biggie, I've cut back his dosage of Carprofen to just one tablet per day, half in the morning and half in the evening.  Like us humans moving the aging process, his stiffness is not constant, some days sitting down for him is difficult, other days he has no problem.

Something odd happened yesterday while I was on the treadmill.  I don't know if it was because I was hustling along at swift 3.5 mph, or something caused the problem, but my Garmin recorded me going up 44 sets of stairs and down 67.  Very intersting.

Nancy Pelosi is most likely going to land in Taiwan this evening.  This is pissing off the Xi, who desperately wants to pull a Putin and invade the island.  Surprisingly, a number of Republicans are supportive of her visit, in fact, I do believe she invited several to join her as she thumbs her nose at Xi.

Also impressive was the Biden administration taking out the leader of Al Qaeda.  Even Fox News gave him a thumbs up on that one.

And people are waiting to find out what Sinema says of the Schumer / Manchin bill.  I understand that Manchin, himself, is in communication with her.  Now, what do you think he's saying?  Possibly "now is not the time to burn your bridges, Toots?"  She is up for re-election in 2024.  Or maybe something like "you have no idea how much fun there is in kicking Mitch McConnell in his nuts."  We don't know.  I do know that if she crouches down and shit on this bill, she'll be putting herself on the Republican side of a very deep ravine.

Formalities

Well, it's raining.  The forecast called for sloppy, wet snow and we got rain.  After today the temps drop.  We're getting another one of those Arctic Blasts.  Oh, and we're not even a month into winter, so there's no need for you to check your calendar.  This year, winter seems to be moving much slower than usual.  Of course, as I get older, maybe I'm not finding winter as much fun as when I was younger.

My aunt's viewing / funeral are today.  I've chosen skip it because of the reception line.  Now some may think this sounds silly, but I really hate waiting in lines and this line is going to be long.  My aunt had 4 children, so they, and their spouses, are going to be lined up just past the casket.  There are also 11 grandchildren and they, and their spouses, will be lined up just past their parents.  After that there will be a cluster great grandchildren who number 17.  Inevitably one or more of them will say, "why is it we only see each other at funerals?"  Well, because our worlds very rarely interact.  If you live 5 miles away, and the only time you see these people is at the end of someone's life, you might want to re-evaluate your relationships.  Their side of the family is very formal: an open casket viewing, a funeral, and graveside services (the rain has turned to snow) followed by a private luncheon for the family.  There will be navy blue suits and expensive dresses purchased for the occasion.  hhhmp.   I asked to my brother, "why couldn't they just do a nice memorial service when the weather is nicer?"  See, I'd go to something like that.

Yesterday, Joe Manchin, a 74 year old white man from Conservative West Virginia who's thinking of his re-election campaign, and Krysten Sinema, a 45 year old white woman who said compromise is better than changing the filibuster, voted with the Republican minority, a group who had already changed the filibuster rules to stack the Supreme Court, to not change the filibuster rules.  These two need to be fired.  They are both too self-serving to be efficient.

On a brighter note, the Supreme Court gave Loser #45 bad news, Executive Privilege does not cover the documentation of January 6.  That dumb shit Trump doesn't understand this court, which he stacked to save his ass, will throw him to the wolves in their attempt to prove to America they have not been politicized.  In the end both will lose.

Two Dogs on a Sunny Saturday

I hope everybody is having a good Sunday Morning!  We all got an extra hour's sleep, or at least some of us did.  Neither of the dogs got up for a midnight pee break.  Let me tell you, that's nice.

Yesterday business was steady at the flooring desk up until around 2(PM), and then things began to slow down... until just about the time I was ready to leave.  I don't stay, in case any of you are wondering.  I exit the premises precisely on my scheduled departure time.  No hanging around for me.

Tomorrow I have to go for bloodwork.  Can you see the excitement in my words?  This is because my sugar is borderline.  Honestly, I'm borderline glaucoma, borderline cholesterol, border high blood pressure.  You would think that at some point in time my doctor would realize that being borderline is normal for me.  My temp is normally 96.7 (F).  Normal body temp is considered 98.6 (F), so when I hit 98.6 (F) I'm running a low grade fever... just letting you know.

Yesterday I snapped this pic of the dogs.  I call it Two Dogs on a Sunny Saturday.  Don't you like the way Biggie is giving me his 'hell, not another picture,' look?

You'd think Democrats would be satisfied after Friday's infrastructure note, and most are, but there are those voices clamoring on how we as a party are not united.  To those people I say, no, we are not like Republicans, we don't march in lockstep, our opinions count.  This doesn't mean we should sit back and accept the silent Sinema, or the Maserati driving Manchin.  They are outliers who have too much power and seem to wield it by whim.  Don't worry, the voters of their states will deal with them.

The Non Sequitur

Friday Morning.  Yesterday was less productive than I anticipated.  This happens.  I slept in because I was up late... or I should say I went to bed and then got up a little before midnight because Biggie had to go out.  Normally, I fall back to sleep rather fast.  That didn't happen.

I downloaded my MRI yesterday so I could see why my lumbar spine looks like.  I needed to also get a special app.  Several are available.  I chose something called Mango since I like the fruit.  The slides I looked at yesterday were all vertical, I want to see it horizontally.  It's difficult to make out specifics on individual slides, so I'll have to play around.

Still no call from UPMC.  Interestingly enough, my back seems to be realigning itself, or something else is happening.  I don't have nearly the pain I had 2 months ago.  The same thing happened 6 years ago.  Could this be a little of Cura te ipsum?

Alec Baldwin was involved in a fatal firearm accident yesterday on a movie set.  This morning, as I scanned down through Facebook to see if my Navy buddies had posted anything, I saw people were posting pictures of him supposedly taken after the incident.  Losers. I don't understand why people need to post this shit, or even worse, why people like to look at it.

I made a tasty chicken dish for dinner last evening:  boneless chicken breast, fresh tomatoes, lemon, and basil.  No recipe, just me playing around.  Simply scrumptious.

A group of five veterans, Kristen Sinema's advisory panel on Veteran's Affairs quit.  They did not claim that she is a non sequitur, and even though that is normally a literary device, in this case, as far as her being a politician it fits.  They were very specific about her absurdly confusing, non performance as a Senator.  An aid of hers released a generic statement which unequivocally said nothing.  She is, without a doubt, the sum total of her words in this, and in so many other matters.

Danny, Say it's So

Thunderstorms yesterday brought a change of temperature, so I turned the heat on before I went to bed rather than wait to see how cold it was going to get.  Good Thinking.  This morning it was a cool, chilly willy 43 (F) outside.  Inside?  A comfy 71 (F).  Getting older, that seems to be my 'go to' temp.

Work was steady yesterday - I got 3 measures.  Not bad.  They still have not flipped the button making my part-time status official.  This does 2 things I don't like: keeps me from tweaking my schedule ( work until 7 this evening and back in at 0800 tomorrow morning), it also keeps my metrics high; part-timers have lower goals since they have less hours to meet them.

Social Security is giving me a nice increase, a 5.9% raise to keep up with the cost of living.  That's a nice increase.  Interestingly enough, I had just mentioned to Bathwater that I couldn't remember the last I got a 5% increase.  Well, now I can.

I'm going ahead with the new roofs.  The expected start date is towards the end of November.  That's fine with me.  After that, I'm planning on having some electrical work done, which I suspect will be just as pricey.

Daniel Craig says he used to go to gay bars for 2 reasons, to keep from getting into fights, and to meet women...   To be honest, the only time I saw a fight was at the Strawberry on 2nd Street during the crush to get to the bar for last call.  As for the women...  only the occasional, usually showing up with their bestie gay guy and not looking for romance.

I understand GOP donors are handing money over to Sinema, this from the Insider.  This would not surprise me.

Finally, it seems as though 22% of Republicans believe the Orange Anus is going to be reinstated before the end of the year.  Who could ask for more conclusive evidence of their stupidity?  Will they turn out to vote?  Don't know.  What I do know is that Democrats and Independence need to turn out in droves for every election possible.  This should be a chilling thought: you can't even imagine the damage Republicans would do to this country if they were to regain control of either the House or the Senate.  Vote Blue

The MRI

So, I had my MRI yesterday (no pics yet). though I received a call from my Dr. around 1:30 (PM) with the results.  They are pretty much what I was expecting.  L1 is bulging and L2 is in the process of spitting out its disc jelly.  Ouch.  My pain right now is nowhere near what it was 6 weeks ago.  To me, that signifies improvement.  Nerves from L1 and L2 run down the front of your leg, hence the fiery discomfort in my quads and knee caps.  This also explains why now and then my quads will get tingly, like the muscles are falling asleep.  I haven't actually seen the pictures yet, but the VA is going to upload them to my file so I'll be able to watch those snazzy videos from the comfort of my gaming chair.  In the meantime, here's a diagram.

Six years ago L4 and L5 were in the process of fusing naturally, L5 and S1 had already fused.  L3 was bulging badly.  Basically, the process is slowly moving up my spine.  I'm interested in seeing if L3 and L4 have fused.  Since the pain has decreased, I suspecting the fusion process is underway.  For the time being, I'm going to opt for an injection of steroids.  As my doctor said, that will pretty much eliminate the pain, however it does nothing to correct the issue.  However, if the fusion process is happening naturally, I don't see why I should submit to surgery for a quick fix, so to speak.  So, right now I'm waiting for a call to tell me where and when to go for my injection.

Politically, wasn't it interesting to see Mitch McConnell blink regarding the debt ceiling?  While the Republicans are trying to spin this in their direction, old Mitch has suddenly decided is comment about "no compromise" only had traction in the MAGA base.  Ever other voters was looking at him and wondering why he was being such a dick.  By the way, the answer to that is:  he's a Republican.

Oh, and saw where the Arizona Democrats have already found a replacement for Sinema.  First they follow her into the restroom so she can't pinch a loaf in private, and now they've settled on someone they consider better qualified to fulfill the Democrat agenda.  Don't worry.  She's not upset.  She doesn't care.  That's how phonies are.

Free Thinkers

I slept in again today.  That's becoming a bit of a habit, not necessarily a bad one either.  That's a sign my back is improving, no painful muscle spasms waking me up every 2 hours, and no need to apply a heating pad for 45 minutes.  With a return of the sleep come the odd dreams again.  Last night I dreamt I was investigating deaths in high rise nursing homes and instead of finding bad stuff, everyone was nice, plying me with food... on every floor.  They were so nice, I found myself doing laundry in the basement using jet powered washers, until I finally ended up at the dessert tables (plural) at my college reunion.  Food played a major role.

As for my back, an MRI has been scheduled for tomorrow morning.  Getting the call was a bitch.  My phone kept thinking the Radiology Department at the VA was a spam caller and kept disconnecting.

I understand Kristen Sinema is not happy.  Now, isn't that a shame.  Some say she's trying to be an iconoclast, I say she's stuck in 'free thinker' mode.  Look at her history.  She was with the Green Party for a while, then a Bernie Babe, and now... well, she got enough Democrats in Arizona to voter for her to get her into the Senate.  She has always been a free thinker.  She likes that, to be able to change her mind when she wants, to choose a different viewpoint because it tickles her neurotransmitters differently.  She doesn't want to explain herself, and so rarely gives interviews, and her statements are mostly framed by negatives.  She's being badgered to explain herself, and she can't.  To do so would mean she stood for something.  Free thinkers rarely stand for anything which will lock them down.  Getting behind something, giving reasons why you object to something, or are voting against something takes away your freedom.  Believe me, she will never stand for anything.
